Together, Learning Center and Learning Hubs form the Learning Center Network Learning Center Network: offers a range of lowbarrier access points to Aalto University, its services and community; showcases what Aalto university is; Aalto Learning Interface / Hub-thinking Vision from 2011 and provides a flexible learning environment. 13

Learning Hub Greenhouse (SCI) From unclaimed space to a lively coworking area in 5 months Location: SCI, Konemiehentie 2, 02150 Espoo Area: 500 m 2 Budget: 15 000 Timeline: built during September 2012 - February 2013, running Organized by a supervised student team. Designed based on data collected from students and staff. Partly built by the final users. Communicated through social media. Collaborates with other Aalto projects (Aalto Window) and outside partners (Sodexo). 20

Learning Hub Toolkit for sharing our project development methods. During 2013 the Learning Center Network was joined by two partner members: ADD Lab and Urban Mill. Two more initiatives plan to join us in 2014: Energy Garage and Aaltonaut Hub. We can help our partners build great learning environments by providing a simple toolkit and personal guidance. 27
4. Summary
Summary Learning Center Network is a living organism that consists of 9 operating Hubs and more than 10 potential developments. Learning Center Network is a serendipitous by-product of using the modern product design methods (e.g. lean prototyping, beta testing) in the Learning Center planning process. Learning Center Network is co-created with Aalto University community. Learning Center Network pioneers new ways of campus development. 29
