Rough, old environments seem to be more attractive and creative than the traditional ones: Aalto Design Factory, Venture Garage, New Factory, Demola, Protomo, Hubs, Proacademy in Tampere What are the best solutions: new buildings, renovation projects or brown/grey field projects (=users develop the spaces by themselves)? To find the answer, University Property companies are investing 10 million euros (=1 % of the investments) in the research on Future Learning Environments Campus development 4
