March Business Design Centre, London Innovate UK is a joint venture from the Technology Strategy Board and UK Trade & Investment which sees the two organisations unite the highly successful Innovate and TechWorld events. The aim is to accelerate UK economic growth by stimulating business-led innovation and international trade. Over three days Innovate UK will bring together 4,000 people from UK and international business, investors, Government, the research community and academia to do business and collaborate. Focused on eight key sectors: Agrifood, Future Cities, Digital Services, Energy, Health, High Value Manufacturing, Transport and Space. Innovate UK will be moulded around an interactive Conference programme; a cutting edge innovation exhibition with 160 exhibition stands; interactive seminars, workshops and meetings. Innovate UK will provide an insight into the innovation opportunities over the next 30 years: the hottest markets; cutting edge technologies; the public and private sector support landscape; and funding and collaboration opportunities available

4 The Venue Business Design Centre, London Situated in fashionable Islington, the Business Design Centre plays host to over 80 exhibitions and 250 conferences every year. It is also the permanent home to over 100 businesses who occupy the offices & showrooms around the perimeter of the centre on 3 floors.

Since its inception in 2005, TechWorld has grown year on year to having over 1800 UK and international delegates in 201, who anticipated 7 million of new orders from TechWorld. We are presently getting as many enquires as we can handle for our technology as a result of the exposure we gained at the TechWorld - Verbatim Ltd Nick Baird, Chief Executive of UK Trade & Investment said: "Over the last two years, businesses that attended Innovate and TechWorld collectively generated over 70m worth of UK trade; 65% of them identified new business opportunities and 77% said they learned something that would help them to innovate. By bringing the events together we hope to deliver even more success for UK businesses whether by helping them grow through innovation, international trade and investment or collaborative opportunities. 65% of businesses that attended Innovate and TechWorld last year identified new business opportunities.
