20 Campus to be built at Otaniemi The current campuses are located at Otaniemi in Espoo and at the Arabia and Töölö areas in Helsinki. The University also has operations in Mikkeli, Lahti, Vaasa and Pori in Finland. The main university campus will be gradually transferred to Otaniemi, starting in The objective with the campus is to create an interactive research and study environment where work, study, hobbies and everyday life are naturally interconnected.
21 Expertise workshops: Design Factory, Media Factory, Service Factory and Health Factory Combining the expertise of the schools in the fields of product development, media and services. Students, researchers and companies will meet in connection with joint projects. Units based on Design Factory's mode of operation have also been established at universities in Shanghai, Melbourne and Santiago.
22 The IDBM Programme: a new viewpoint on design expertise The International Design Business Management (IDBM) Master's Degree Programme trains experts for planning and implementing global business concepts that also make use of design and technology. It is Aalto University's multidisciplinary Master's Degree Programme that combines all fields. Practical corporate projects are a crucial part of the programme.
