Winkle College of Pharmacy invites applications for a full- time, non- tenure track, 12- month clinical faculty position in the Division of Pharmacy Practice and Administrative Sciences in the area of ambulatory care at the Assistant Professor level. This position will support the patient care mission at the practice site and the educational, service, scholarly missions of the College. Primary responsibilities will include didactic and experiential teaching in the Doctor of Pharmacy program. The teaching focus of the academic responsibilities will be coordination of one of the two Patient Care Laboratory courses. The successful candidate will maintain an ambulatory care practice, precept pharmacy and resident rotations, and participate in scholarly and service activities appropriate for appointment rank. A new Dean has recently been appointed to lead the James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy and it will soon begin a major renovation project which will include both teaching and research space. The College is located on the Health Sciences Campus in close proximity to Cincinnati s Children s Hospital, the Cincinnati Veteran s Administration Hospital, and the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, as well as the Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, and Allied Health Professions which facilitates partnerships in teaching and research with the faculty from these units. Salary is negotiable and commensurate with education and experience. The position is anticipated to be available July 1, 2014. Winkle College of Pharmacy at the University of Cincinnati (named both the 2013 Public University of the Year and the top university for students return on investment) seeks outstanding applicants and nominations for the position of Chair, Division of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The successful candidate will be named as the Joseph W. Carl Chair. The College under the leadership of a recently appointed Dean will soon begin a major renovation project of both teaching and research space. This position is co- funded by Catholic Health Partners (CHP) and will support the educational, service, scholarly missions of the College and CHP. Primary responsibilities will be to conduct collaborative research between the College and CHP to improve health outcomes across the CHP continuum of care. Focus areas include quality improvement, patient safety, resource utilization and identifying cost- effective strategies. This position will involve teaching in the PharmD and MS/PhD graduate programs and service activities appropriate for appointment rank. Qualified candidates must have PhD, DrPH or equivalent degree in Health Outcomes, Epidemiology or related field.
