1 FAQs ACTIVATION / RELATED How to install and download the GETs application? Its easy to install the application - GSM customers: send sms <Free> to ( toll free) to fetch the download link. Just click on the download link received via sms to download the application.android handset users may need to click on the downloaded app to install it. CDMA customers: Download from TATAZone. You may also contact our customer care center for assistance to have the application downloaded on your handset. How to deactivate free call services? You can either uninstall the application or delete it from your handset. Alternately you can call our customer care service for help. How to re-activate/unblock the free call services? You can reactivate the application by clicking on the TATA Docomo GETs icon and sharing your consent for enabling the service. If you have erased or removed the application from your handset, you can reinstall the application easily. Will application work if user has not accepted T&C? No.It is mandatory to agree to the TnC before availing of the TATA Docomo service Will application work if user has not submitted registration form? No, users must submit the registration form to avail of the TATA Docomo GETs service. How can a user edit his/her profile information? The user will need to click on the TATA Docomo GETs icon and select the Edit profile option on the status page. How can a user watch the introductory video, terms and conditions again in case it was skipped? Please click on the TATA Docomo GETs icon and select the relevant options on the status page. Is video calling supported by the application? No.

2 Will application work on a non TATA Docomo SIM? No, TATA Docomo GETs will work only on a TATA Docomo GSM or CDMA sim. Which outgoing numbers from your Tata Docomo SIM will let you avail of GETs facility? GETs Service will be applicable for any outgoing Local or National number (ranging from 10 to 14 digits) from your Tata Docomo SIM / UIM. Will GETs work on both pre pay and post pay customers of Tata DOCOMO? Tata Docomo is available for both Pre and Post pay subscribers. OPERATIONAL Will TATA Docomo GETs work on national roaming? Yes. It will work, but only on TATA network while roaming to other circles. Note- Java device users must select TATA network manually. Selecting other may result in data charges. Can I use TATA Docomo GETs when I am in International roaming? TATA Docomo GETs is available while in home circle and during on net roaming. The service is not available while on International Roaming. Why is the message Ad inventory not available displayed? If ads are not available according to your interest or if they have not been synched in your handset due to various reasons like handset switched off, data connectivity not available etc then this message is displayed. During this period, while the Free Call option is not available, you can always select the Paid Call service and make a call in the normal manner. Will I be affected by the date and time of device? Yes, incorrect date and time of your handset will inhibit you from availing of the TATA Docomo GETs service as this will have a bearing on timing and length of each individual campaign. How many free calls can I make through TATA Docomo GETs service, daily? Please click on the TATA Docomo GETs icon to view the number of free calls which you can avail of in a day. Will I be able to make a call if balance is zero? Yes, but call will be connected only for one minute.

3 If my recharge is not successful even after I view the ad completely,will I still receive the free min on continuing with the outgoing call? Sure! The free min will be credited shortly and can be utilized on any other outgoing call Am I required to be in a data connectivity range to get the free call credit? Yes, user must be in data connectivity range within 24 hrs from the time the Ad was watched. Will free call option works for conference call? The Free min credited can be used only for the first minute of the call duration for the first number dialed to join the conference call. The remaining numbers and mins will be charged according to the normal call charges. How will a user be notified when there is failure in crediting the free min to user account (even after the complete Ad has been watched)? Failure in immediate credit results from lack of GPRS network at the time of making and finishing the call. Under such circumstances call tariff will be deducted from core balance (in case of prepay). User will get an sms and an in app pop up message regarding the same. He will subsequently get one minute credit for each call made in that period, within 48 hours. For Post Pay customers this will not make a difference Will there be any Data charges applicable for downloading and syncing of Ads? No data charges would be applicable for downloading and syncing of Ads while in Home circle or while On Net Roaming. Note- Java handset users selecting APN other than TATA may bear data charges. Will user get the free min if the Ad is expired? No. The user will get free minutes only on valid and ongoing campaigns. Any ad that has run the course of its campaign will be removed while syncing of ads. In the unlikely event of the syncing not happening, the user will not be able to avail the free minute for an expired / off campaign ad. This anomaly will be removed when the ads are synced subsequently. Will the credited balance be transferable to other accounts? No. Free Minutes earned through Tata Docomo GETs are non transferable Will application work properly by choosing Wi-Fi connection? No, Application works only with GPRS connection.

Please select Yes 3) Why is the message Allow application to send and receive data on network displayed? It is displayed when TATA Docomo GETs application wants to perform necessary tasks depending on network. Application must be given access. 4) Will user have to manually select the APN? Yes, to enable download of application & uninterrupted service experience, the first time customer will have to check that he is using the TATA Docomo Internet APN. If there is a discrepancy in this, he will need to manually configure TATA Docomo Internet APN. 5) What should the user do when the message Allow application to access network is displayed? When TATA Docomo GETs application makes a connection to app server for the first time, this message is displayed. Select Yes option to make a secure connection, if you select No then application will not proceed further 6)Why is the message Midlet GETsCall wants to be launched displayed? TATA Docomo GETs Application syncs the ads in off peak hours so that you can avail the free call benefit.. The activity must be given permission in order to benefit you with free mins. You can download GETs application from TATA BREW Catalog i.e TaTAZone. 3) I have downloaded TATA Docomo GETs application on my device when I click application icon it asks me to register. On initiating an outgoing call, a pop up will be displayed which has the options to make a Free Call or a Paid Call. 5) What will happen when I choose free call option and paid call option? If you choose Free Call: When you choose the Free Call option, a short advertisement video is played. Once the ad is completed, the outgoing call is connected. The first minute of this outgoing call is free of cost to the customer. The remaining mins of the call duration will be charged according to your existing plan, as is normal. Paid Call :The call will be connected in the normal manner. No ads will be played and no free mins credited to your balance account. 6) I have chosen Free Call option and I watched the ad completely. However a Privacy Alert screen is being displayed stating that This application is trying make an outbound call. Continue? Please select Yes to make the outgoing call. 7) I have chosen paid call option a Privacy Alert screen is being displayed stating that This application is trying make an outbound call. Continue? Please select Yes to make the outgoing call. 8) A warning message is being displayed when I choose Free Call option stating that not watching an ad completely will bar me from the service? This message is displayed when you don t watch an Ad completely. Frequent repeat of this behavior will bar you from using the TATA Docomo GETs service.

6 9) My number has got barred, I am not able to use the Free Call anymore what to do? Please wait for the service to be unbarred. Alternately you can contact our customer care service. 10) I have selected Free Call option after watching the Ad my call got connected but my number wasn t recharged? Due to a temporary problem, the free minute was not credited to your account. However the same will be credited shortly. 12) What if I am a postpaid customer of TATA Docomo. Can I use TATA Docomo GETs service? Sure! TATA Docomo GETs service can be availed by postpaid customers as well. The Discount will reflect in your monthly bill
