1 The International Real Estate Federation Beste FRESH Alumni, Het vastgoedcongres is speciaal voor en door de Young Members (<35 jaar) van FIABCI georganiseerd en vindt plaats op 8 en 9 April te Hamburg met als thema Entrepreneurship in Real Estate. De twee congresdagen bestaan uit sessies met sprekers van 9.00 uur tot uur en daarna het bezichtigen van vastgoedprojecten (o.a. Hafencity). FRESH Alumni kunnen deelnemen tegen het aantrekkelijke congrestarief van 150,- inclusief welkomstdrankje op donderdag, twee maal het dagprogramma met sprekers op vrijdag 8 en zaterdag 9 april, de excursie naar Hafencity en één maal een lunch. Eventuele additionele sociale activiteiten als een extra lunch (vrijdag 8 april) en het afsluitende diner (zaterdag 9 april) worden tegen de beperkte extra bijdrage van 70 aangeboden. Kortom, een betaalbare en interessante mogelijkheid om te netwerken met ondernemende jonge mensen uit heel Europa actief in het vastgoed en dat alles in de levendige stad Hamburg, op circa 4 uur reizen vanaf Amsterdam. In het inschrijfformulier worden een aantal hotels aangeboden, dit zijn echter slechts aanbevelingen, als je zelf het internet opgaat vind je al kamers vanaf 40, - per nacht. 2 The International Real Estate Federation Young Members Conference Hamburg, 8-9 April 2011 Update February First registrations As organizing committee we are happy to announce that various people from several different nationalities have signed up. Participants from the States, South America and even Asia have registered, in addition to a dozen of people from at least six other nationalities across Europe. Furthermore we are strengthening ties with universities, because of huge interest from the next generation to become entrepreneurially active in their future working careers. Presentations have been held at universities in Germany and the Netherlands, and more are coming up. All speakers have now been confirmed and include over half a dozen FIABCI entrepreneurs, each highlighting different topics like cross border entrepreneurship, brand creation and local experiences in specific sectors. Professors will highlight the theoretical basics of entrepreneurship and a number of board members of Deutsche Bank and Bilfinger Berger will talk about their entrepreneurial experiences in their firms. It offers perfect occasions to find business opportunities throughout the world. The FIABCI Young Members group (young professionals up to the age of 35) has some 300 members worldwide. About 200 of us are based in Europe, 75 in Latin and Northern America, while the APAC countries currently have a limited number of YM s but has a large growth potential. The theme of the conference is Entrepreneurship in Real Estate since over half of all YM are self employed or work in the family business and are (or aspire to be) entrepreneurial active. We have several high quality speakers: professors from RE universities, big entrepreneurs within FIABCI as well as board members of BilfingerBerger and Deutsche Bank.
