1 Home Phone Find out how to use the Home Phone call features Contents Voic 1571 Three way calling Reminder Call Ring Back 1471 (Last Number Called) 141 Number Withhold 1471 Erasure Caller Display Call Waiting Call Divert Anonymous Call Reject Voic Extra Voic 1571 Never miss a message with this answer phone style service. Accessing a message You ll be alerted to a message by a stuttering dial tone when you pick up your handset. Dial 1571 to access your messages.
2 Caller Display See who s calling you before you answer the phone. If this feature is activated and you have compatible equipment you will be able to see the number of the person calling you. Call Waiting Get an alert if somebody tries to call you when you're already on a call. Switch on call waiting: Press * 43 # Speaking to your second caller: Press RECALL when you hear a beep to let you know you have a second call. Returning to your 1st caller: Press RECALL at any time Checking that Call Waiting is on: Press * # 43 # Switch off Call Waiting: Press # 43 # Call Divert Divert your calls to any UK landline, mobile, and most international destinations. Divert your calls: Press * {code} * PHONE NUMBER TO DIVERT TO # Checking your diversion: Press * # {code} # Switching off diversion:press # {code} # Enter the following codes depending on how you want to set up your call diversion: 21 divert all calls 61 divert calls you don t answer within 15 seconds 67 divert calls when your phone is engaged
3 Ring Back Get a call back when an engaged number becomes free. Ring back will try for up to 45 minutes. Setting up: Press 5 when you hear an engaged tone, wait for a confirmation message then hang up. Answering a ring back: Pick up your handset when you hear the special ring back tone. Checking a ring back: Press * # 37 # Cancelling a ring back: Press # 37 # You cannot use ring back on calls to ISDN lines, non-uk destinations and some multi-line switchboards (Last Number) Find out the last number that called your phone. Finding out the number: Press 1471 Calling the number back: Press Number Withhold Withhold your number from the person you re calling. Withhold your number: Press 141 then dial the number you re calling Erasure Clear the last number stored using Clear the number: Press 1475
4 Three way calling Dial the first phone number Wait for an answer Ask them to hold while you get the other person on the call Press RECALL Wait for the dial tone Dial the second phone number Wait for an answer Ask them to hold while you get the other person on the call Press RECALL Wait for the dial tone Press 3 You can talk to both people at the same time or to one or the other only: Switching between one person and another - Press RECALL, wait for the dial tone, press 2 Switch back to three way calling - Press RECALL, wait for the dial tone, press 3 To end the call: Press RECALL, then press 5 - ends the call with the first person Press RECALL, then press 7 - ends the call with the second person HANG UP - ends the call with both Reminder Call Set your phone for an alarm call To set the alarm: Press * 55 * (time) # You should set the time using the 24 hour clock, e.g 6.30am is 0630 To cancel the alarm: Press # 55 # To check the time of the alarm:press * # 55 #

The only way to override the fea Anonymous Call Reject Once ordered and active on the line all calls where the number is withheld will be automatically rejected. The only way to override the feature is to remove it. Important note - ACR will reject all calls using the withholding feature, this will include many callers who for a number of reasons do not want to, or cannot divulge the number they are calling from. For example, many Public Services such as Hospitals, DSS, Fire Brigades, Doctors, Police Forces and Public Utilities usually withhold their CLI. The emergency services are fully aware of the limitations of ACR and calls can be put through by Operator services Voice Mail Extra Accessing from your phone: Dial Call Minder will tell you how many messages you have as soon as you call. Press 1 on your telephone or say 1 to listen to your messages. Press 2 on your telephone or say 2 to change your personal options. Accessing from another phone: Dial your own phone number. On hearing the Call Minder greeting enter your PIN number. Personal Options are: Number of rings before answering. Record your personalised greeting message. Change PIN. Note PIN number is set-up and managed via handset after activation.
