About this guide This salary guide is intended to provide a brief overview into the various sectors we actively recruit for. All figures are based in UAE Dirhams per month (AED per month) unless otherwise mentioned. The figures quoted are intended to serve as a guide, as actual salaries will depend on factors such as candidate experience and company benefits. 6 HEALTHCARE position Average salary 2012 Benefits Starting GP: Physicians who hold the basic medicine degree from a recognized university or college and who have fulfilled the internship year and have experience for less than (5) years. (National physician is exempted from the condition of experience). General Practitioner: Physicians who hold the basic medicine degree from a recognized university or college and who have completed (5) years experience after the internship year Specialist (B) Doctor: Physicians who hold the basic medicine degree from a recognized university or college together with a diploma or its equivalent, the study of which is not less than (12) months, and who have experience not less than (3) years after the diploma. Specialist (A) Doctor: Physicians who hold the basic medicine degree from a recognized university or college together with a master degree or its equivalent, the study of which is not less than (24) months, and who have experience not less than (3) years after the master.
