2 ASIA Introduction We decided to push the parameters of our employment guide and looked into not only salaries across the region but also long term incentives, employee benefits and what is important to the Asian workforce. As the information collected was highly complex and detailed we ve used visual representations as much as possible to demonstrate our findings. We saw the technology and pharmaceutical sectors boom, whereas other industries, most notably the energy sector, experienced a steep decline. As a business we have continued to grow and finished the year with three times the headcount we started with. 4 ASIA Are there good opportunities in your country? 100% 90% 80% Yes No Overall the feeling towards opportunities in the region was positive with Indonesia standing out as being the most confident moving into 2016 and Australia the least. 70% 60% 50% 40% 30% 20% 10% 0% Many of our respondents eluded to the significant slowdown in the energy sector and the diminished confidence in some markets that are heavily reliant on these industries. Expected regulatory and political progress in Myanmar is certainly causing increased optimism and despite being the least developed country in our survey our respondents were upbeat. In Singapore the fair consideration framework by the government has helped increase positivity with local talent about availability of opportunity. Our respondents did however feel the market is still not buoyant enough to allow for moving between sectors as employers remain risk adverse. FOCUS ON YOUR CORE BUSINESS

Employee Benefits Work Life Balance Salary Company Culture Career Progression Overall salary was the most important factor and in particular Australia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Philippines and Singapore listed it as their most important criteria. Out of these countries Singapore had the highest proportion of people listing it as the most significant factor of deciding on their next career move. For Malaysia and Thailand the most important factor was career progression where as China went for company culture and work life balance was top of the agenda for Hong Kong and Japan. Interestingly employee benefits was the second most important factor for nearly every country we surveyed but never the most important aspect. FOCUS ON YOUR CORE BUSINESS
