2 An Astor Wing wedding at Hever Castle 2016 William Waldorf Astor commissioned the Astor Wing in Craftsman used Tudor tools in order to retain the authenticity of the Tudor era. The result is a series of beautiful Tudor style buildings joined to Hever Castle offering magnificent oak panelling, ornate fireplaces, antique furnishings and an eclectic art collection. Availability: All year round Capacities: Civil ceremony: maximum 60 Wedding breakfast: maximum 60 Evening reception: maximum 120 Minimum numbers of 25 adults Timings: Ceremonies from 2pm Check into bedrooms from 3pm (min of 10 Astor Wing rooms to be booked if rooms required) Evening Reception opportunities: The Moat Restaurant with views of the floodlit castle can be made available from 7.30pm if required for an evening reception, offering a licensed bar until midnight. 4 An Italian Garden wedding at Hever Castle 2016 One of the most magnificent areas of the gardens at Hever Castle is The Italian Garden, designed to display William Waldorf Astor s collection of fine Italian sculpture. The Guthrie Pavilion, Palladian in style with vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling arched windows make for a light and airy atmosphere from day into night without losing the romantic backdrop of the lake and gardens.
