Successful applicants will get expsure t a wide range f technlgies, including mbile and service enabled architectures. The incumbent will als be expsed t enterprise level lean agile develpment methdlgies based n SAFE, Scrum and KANBAN. This exciting pprtunity will include 3 mnths rientatin training at the client s premises abrad. Overall purpse f the jb: The incumbent leads the develpment, testing and implementatin f efficient and cst-effective applicatins t slve business prblems. He/she evaluates cmplex applicatins, systems, prcesses and requirements. Recmmends changes t thse systems, supervises their develpment, then plans and versees their maintenance and supprt. Key respnsibilities: Leads r helps t lead prject teams t design, develp and test enterprise-ready business applicatins in a variety f cnfiguratins (e.g. web-based, desktp-based, service-based r scheduled prcesses). Designs, plans and versees the develpment f entire slutins frm scratch, r slutins that integrate with third-party applicatins, r that interact with existing legacy systems. Understands industry best-practice related t cding and tls. Uses their expertise and mentring skills, alngside practices such as cde reviews and cde analysis, t ensure the team adheres t best practice when develping slutins. Justifies design and develpment decisins based upn industry experience. Has well-established knwledge f prgramming languages and tls in general; mainly fcussed n the Java platfrm, but an understanding and recgnitin f where ther apprpriate tls are mre applicable? Wrks with Business Analysts t identify and specify business requirements and derive the design f the related slutin, and ensures these are translated int technical specificatins (including Class, Sequence and ther UML diagrams) by the Develpment team. Helps Database Develpers design databases and ensures the Develpment Team writes efficient, effective database access cde in line with best practice. Wrks with QA Analysts t develp and implement testing plans. Ensures the team writes the necessary cde t autmate testing in line with ur Test-Driven Develpment methdlgy. Wrks alngside custmers and prject managers t ensure quality, effective sftware is delivered regularly by the team, in line with ur Agile Develpment prcess. Ensure the rt causes f systems issues are diagnsed effectively by wrking with the team t imprve their prblem slving skills and build upn their knwledge f existing systems. Experience gained in industry f the entire sftware develpment lifecycle (Requirements Analysis, Design, Develpment, Testing, Implementatin and Maintenance) is required.
