3 The New Line Copenhagen Ringsted General description of TP 40 TP 40 earth and construction work stretch from st and ends at st In this package covers the first 5.7 km earthwork and small fauna passages, and for the last 12.5 Km also bridge structures, as well as roads, fauna passages, retaining walls and embankments. Also a number of roads will have to be either, relocated or reconstructed. Bridges on the first part, from Ishøj junction to Greve Centervej is build under contract TP41, which is planned to finish medium From here TP 40 will have free passage over and under all structures for doing the earthwork. The earthwork on the alignment includes both local earth balances as well as the total earth balance. Special attentions to be paid on the area around Mc Donald, Cementvej and Tåstrupvej, due to large intensity of traffic, which could arise some challenges during construction time. Design and build Being the Employer, Banedanmark requires the Contractor to design and build the following permanent civil works. St. Item Description - Temporary dewatering of groundwater during construction phase - Preparation of spoil area - Handling of topsoil along existing road (0-1 m from pavement) as mildly contaminated - Preparation of plans for traffic diversion during the entire construction phase - Foundations for overhead catenary system (optional) Embankments and excavation for railway Sub ballast and lower layer ballast on embankment Drainage of railway embankment and cutting including pumping stations and rainwater basins Access road at Tranegilde by (N-RO-13) Tranekilde Mark and path (drain ditch), new bridge, underpass of Tranekilde Mark, (N-F-08) Fauna passage at Tranekilde Mark (N-F-09) The New Line Copenhagen Ringsted 3

The overall earth balance for this tender package has been designed by Banedanmark. The Contractor shall make a detailed design for the earth handling within the contract limit. Scope of work Together with this description is an overview plan indicating the scope of TP40 and contract limits. Constructions and road work carried out by TP41 and VD (Danish Road Directorate) is also marked on the plan for information only. The New Line Copenhagen Ringsted 6
