3 Pro-Am de l Afrique du Sud Access February 4 th to 11 th, 2016 When we have created this event in 2003, we did nt imagine the huge success of this event! Since then, more than 1000 golfers have discovered this world in one country which is South Africa. In 2016, to open this event to international golfers, we double the event with this new «SOUTH AFRICA INTERNATIONAL ACCESS PRO-AM» in the Western Cape area. A selection of the best golf courses has been done by our experts and you will have the great pleasure to participate in a challenging and friendly event on Royal Cape Golf Club, Atlantic Beach, Pearl Valley and Arabella. After 4 nights at the Portwood hotel ideally located on the famous Cape Town Waterfront you will join Arabella for the three final days. This event is limited to 20 teams and we recommend you to register at your earliest conveniance! We hope to meet you there and make your experience in the Rainbow Nation Country memorable! 4 General Informations The month of february is the best period of the year to visit the Western Cape Region. With an average temperature of 28, blue sky and long days. First part of the event will take place in Cape Town which is a great location for golfers and non golfers. Selected golf courses are located in various types of areas between Ocean and Wine estates regions. After few days in Cape Town, the Pro-Am will moove to the southwest in the area of the charming costal city of Hermanus.

6 The golf courses Pro-Am de l Afrique du Sud Access Royal Cape : Founded in 1885, the Royal Cape is the oldest golf course of South Africa, only 15 minutes drive from downtown Cape Town. Big names like Gary Player or Ernie Els have won South African Open, Amators Championship and Players 1999, 2000 and Pearl Valley : This modern resort course is the first Jack Nicklaus design in South Africa ; in the beautiful region of Paarl. 7 Atlantic Beach : On the North-West Cost, the pure links of Atlantic Beach can provide a really tough golf experience, particularly if the wind blows! The typical scottish roughs, the difficult greens and the bunkers will create a test of golf for the teams! The view from the 12th green is memorable with the Table Mountain in the background. Located around the biggest lagoon of South Africa, this majestical golf course is a real must to play! 8 Pro-Am de l Afrique du Sud Access Itinerary (international Pro-Am excludes flights) Thursday February 4 th : Cape Town According to your flight schedule, personnalised welcome at Cape Town International Airport and private transfer to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront (30 minutes) From 1 PM : Check in at Portswood hotel 7 PM : Opening function and presentation of the teams, followed by a welcome dinner at the hotel Friday February 5 th : Cape Town From 7:00 AM : buffet breakfast 08:30 AM : Transfert au Royal Cape Golf Practice round with golf carts Halfway buffet After golf, Cape Town area tour with Table Mountain ascension by cableway. End of evening free Saturday February 6 th : Cape Town From 7:00 AM : buffet breakfast 10:30 AM : Departure to Pearl Valley Golf Course through the wines route. 10 Tournament Rules Pro-Am de l Afrique du Sud Access Formula of play : Pro-Am 54 holes Stableford Addition of the 2 best Gross scores and Net Scores hole by hole Teams : 1 professionnal (PGA member) + 3 amateurs All players have to be members of a Golf Association and amateurs have to justify of their handicap/index Number of teams limited to 24 Handicap : no handicap limit. Players will receive ¾ of their handicap with a maximum of 24 strokes Tee markers : Professional Men Ladies Amateur Men Ladies White tee markers Blue tee markers Yellow tee markers Red tee markers GPS and laser Rangedinders are allowed. Professional purse : 600 paid by the organization on departure day. Tournament Committee: Promogolf tournament director and hosting golf courses directors.
