CSC s services for the Cleveland Indians are provided under the direction of Jerry Crabb, Senior Director of Ballpark Operations, Seth Cooper, Senior Director of Facility Operations, Renee VanLaningham, Manager of Game Day Staff, Steve Walters, Manager of Ballpark Operations, and Omar Jufko, Manager of Security. 41 st Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach LONG BEACH, CA - CSC Los Angeles provided services for the 41 st Annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, a client since The longest running major street race in the U.S., the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach is the city s largest event, with an annual draw of over 200,000 in attendance. Held April 17-19, the mile course circled the Long Beach Convention Center and stretched down scenic Shoreline Drive. CSC provided services within the race perimeter, including pit lane, pit suites, garage areas, and hospitality areas, as well as pre-coverage services for load-in and access control for reserved grandstand seating. CSC s services were provided under the direction of Grand Prix Association of Long Beach President and CEO, Jim Michaelian, Director of Operations, Dwight Tanaka, and Manager of Operations, Christopher Allen. 2 Ultra Music Festival Bayfront Park, Miami MIAMI, FL - CSC Miami provided services for Ultra Music Festival March for the sixth consecutive year. Ultra is the world s largest electronic music festival and is held annually at the outdoor Bayfront Park in Miami. The festival originally began as a one-day event in 1999 and has since evolved into a three-day festival that attracts hundreds of thousands of fans annually. In addition to providing over 300 event staff each day, CSC also provided 24/7 security coverage prior to the festival s opening as well as following its conclusion. CSC s services were provided under the direction of Ultra Music Festival s Production Director, Ray Steinman, and Chief of Security, Ray Martinez. MAPFRE Stadium and Columbus Crew COLUMBUS, OH - CSC is pleased to continue its now decade-long partnership with MAPFRE Stadium, home to Major League Soccer s Columbus Crew SC. CSC Columbus has partnered with MAPFRE Stadium, previously known as Columbus Crew Stadium, since MAPFRE Stadium opened in 1999, has a soccer seating capacity of 19,968, and is the nation s first major soccer-specific stadium. In addition to Crew SC matches, MAPFRE Stadium has hosted US Soccer men s and women s matches including the coveted men s FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Mexico, college football, and ancillary events, as well as outdoor concerts including the annual three-day Rock on the Range music festival. The festival, America s largest rock concert, hosts 120,000 fans annually and has been a CSC client since CSC provides services for MAPFRE Stadium under the direction of Dan Lolli, Director of Stadium Operations. 3 Mexico vs. Ecuador Soccer Match Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum LOS ANGELES, CA - CSC provided services March 28 for the sold-out Mexico vs. Ecuador soccer match, which was hosted at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and promoted by Major League Soccer (MLS) and Soccer United Marketing (SUM). Kicking off its 13 th annual U.S. Tour, Mexico s National Team defeated Ecuador 1-0 in front of more than 90,000 fans. CSC s affiliate APEX Security Group also played a significant security role in the event by providing supplemental law enforcement officers. Services were provided under the direction of Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and Sports Arena General Manager, Joe Furin, Senior Event Manager, Kevin Daly, and Manager of Security and Guest Services, Jordan Smith. Additionally, MLS s Vice President of Operations and Security, Ray Whitworth, was present at the match to oversee all security operations. Mr. Whitworth will be a featured guest speaker at CSC s annual Corporate Meetings next month. Major League Baseball NORTHRIDGE, CA - The 2015 baseball season has officially begun, and MLB has advanced their security measures by mandating the implementation of either walk-through magnetometers or screening with hand-held metal detectors across all 30 major league ballparks. CSC will be assisting with the implementation of these new security measures and working in partnership with its seven MLB clients: Cleveland Indians, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Los Angeles Dodgers, Miami Marlins, Milwaukee Brewers, San Francisco Giants, and Washington Nationals. CSC is proud of its support and partnership with both Major League Baseball and our client ballparks in enhancing patron screening measures. 4 WGC-Cadillac Match Play SAN FRANCISCO, CA - CSC Northern California will be working with CSC s Special Events division, led by Dan Sidders, to provide services for the World Golf Championship (WGC) Cadillac Match Play April 27 - May 3 at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco. This year will mark the 17 th annual WGC-Cadillac Match Play Championship to be held at TPC Harding Park, now a part of PGA TOUR s Tournament Players Club (TPC) network of courses. The 18-hole match play tournament features the top 64 players from the Official World Golf Ranking. CSC will be providing onsite security services for the tournament, as well as shuttle site support staff, under the direction of Jordan Uppleger, Tournament Operations Manager, PGA TOUR. TPC Harding Park FONTANA, CA - CSC is excited to announce its continued partnership with in Fontana, CA through is California s premier motorsports facility, hosting over 320 days of track activity each year, including the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Auto Club 400 race, the NASCAR Xfinity Series Drive4Clots.com race, and the Verizon Indycar Series MAVTV 500 race. CSC San Bernardino will provide event services including crowd management, security, and bag searches. Services for, a CSC client since 1997, are provided under the direction of Dave Allen, President, Ray Wilkings, Vice President of Operations, Brian Geye, Senior Director of Operations, and Mike Korpal, Security Manager. SEC Gymnastics Championship DULUTH, GA - CSC s Atlanta and Athens branch offices provided crowd management, ticket taking, ushering, and security for the 2015 SEC Women s Gymnastics Championship on March 21. Hosted by The Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, the Championship featured the SEC s top eight teams and attracted over 8,000 fans. The University of Alabama team emerged victorious with its second consecutive SEC Gymnastics title. CSC s services were provided under the direction of Ron Jackson, Assistant General Manager for The Arena at Gwinnett Center. The Arena at Gwinnett Center Gwinnett Center is proud to have hosted the 2015 Southeastern Conference Gymnastics Championship this March. We received positive reviews from the SEC staff about this year s championship, and it stems from the strong partnership that we have with CSC. 5 101st Clovis Rodeo CLOVIS, CA - CSC Fresno will provide 24-hour security coverage for the 101 st Annual Clovis Rodeo, April The Clovis Rodeo kicks off with the Professional Bull Riders (PBR), an international organization, followed by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), an American association. Additionally, Clovis Rodeo will showcase live performances by Parmalee and Frankie Ballard. CSC s services for the Rodeo are provided under the direction of the Clovis Rodeo Association s President, Greg Gillard, Associate Director, Larry Cowger, and 2015 Board of Directors: Lynn Button, Ken Elliot, Ron Dunbar, and Chuck Rigsbee. Clovis Rodeo Employee Spotlight: Jennifer Watson SAN FRANCISCO, CA - CSC would like to acknowledge its appreciation for the hardworking St. Ignatius guards at CSC s Northern California branch and would like to extend a special recognition to one in particular, Jennifer Watson. On her way home from work last month, Jennifer encountered a stranger in need of assistance and went above and beyond to help ensure the safety and well being of this person. Jennifer s act of kindness is admirable and one that inspires pride that someone of her character is part of the CSC family.
