1 OCTOBER 2015 CSC CMA Awards Princeton University Breast Cancer Awareness FIFA CONCACAF Cup Landmark Music Festival Route 91 Festival Security Screening Video Shriners Open Big Sandy Arena Aftershock Festival CMA Awards Bridgestone Arena NASHVILLE, TN - The 49th Annual Country Music Association (CMA) Awards will be held November 4 at Bridgestone Arena, a CSC client since Known as Country Music s Biggest Night, the CMA Awards will be hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood for the eighth consecutive year. CSC will provide services for the CMA Awards including security, ushering, ticket taking, screening via walk through metal detectors, and red carpet security. Bridgestone Arena, home to the NHL s Nashville Predators, has hosted the CMA Awards since According to Pollstar s Third-Quarter Ticket Sales Report, Bridgestone Arena ranks second in the United States and sixth in the world for concert ticket sales. CSC s services for Bridgestone Arena are provided under the direction of David Chadwell, Vice President of Event Operations, and Ben Bosse, Director of Event Services. Princeton University Three-Year Contract PRINCETON, NJ - CSC is pleased to announce its threeyear contract with Princeton University, a client since CSC Philadelphia provides guest services, ticket taking, and ushering for the Princeton Tigers football and basketball games at Princeton University Stadium and Jadwin Gymnasium, respectively. Princeton s football program, one of the oldest in the world, has claimed 28 national titles. Jadwin Gymnasium is home to Princeton s basketball program as well as indoor track and field, squash, and fencing. CSC s services are provided under the direction of Karen Malec, Princeton University Associate Director of Athletics, Event Operations. Princeton University Stadium

2 Breast Cancer Awareness Month Camp Randall Stadium NORTHRIDGE, CA - In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM), CSC branches across the country wore pink uniforms for events throughout October. CSC annually partners with its clients to promote NBCAM, which has made tremendous strides in the fight against breast cancer through various campaign initiatives. CSC proudly promotes NBCAM alongside professional, collegiate, and high school sports leagues. FIFA CONCACAF Cup Rose Bowl Stadium PASADENA, CA - CSC provided services for the 2015 FIFA CONCACAF Cup, October 10, at Rose Bowl Stadium. Featuring the U.S.A and Mexico teams, this soccer match was a playoff game which granted the winner a spot in the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup in Russia. Mexico defeated Team USA 3-2 in over time, in front of more than 93,000 fans. CSC deployed over 1,500 event staff for the match and provided event services, including field and locker room security, traffic and bicycle patrol, entry searches, ushering, hospitality, ID checks, conduct enforcement teams, and security zone teams. Additionally, APEX Security Group deployed 70 officers and provided services including traffic control, illegal vendor detail, stadium gate security, and field security. CSC Los Angeles worked in collaboration with CSC Orange County, San Bernardino, Las Vegas, and San Diego, with additional management support from CSC Houston, Cleveland, Dallas, Northern California, and Denver. CSC also worked with CONCACAF officials Ray Whitworth and Jeff Stonebreaker, MLS/SUM Security, and Jon Radke, Venue Manager, under the direction of Rose Bowl s Darryl Dunn, CEO/General Manager, and George Cunningham, COO.

3 Landmark Music Festival West Potomac Park WASHINGTON D.C. - CSC provided services for the inaugural Landmark Music Festival, September 26-27, at West Potomac Park in Washington D.C. Landmark Music Festival featured four stages and 42 artists, including Drake and The Strokes. The festival kicked off The Trust for the National Mall s Landmark Campaign, which aims to raise awareness and funds to restore and improve the National Mall and its monuments. CSC s Washington D.C. branch deployed over 100 event staff on festival days, and provided 24-hour security coverage from September Services were provided under the direction of Tim Tuba Smith, Festival Director, C3 Presents, and Darin Williams, Security Director, NPB Companies, Inc. Route 91 Harvest Country Music Festival LAS VEGAS, NV - CSC Las Vegas provided services for the 2nd annual Route 91 Harvest Country Music Festival October 2-4, which featured headliners Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, and Florida Georgia Line. CSC provided event security services including bag searches, VIP escorts, stage barricades, frontof-house, back-of-house, and perimeter security. Services were provided under the direction of Andy Peloquin, Route 91 Harvest Festival Security Director. CSC Las Vegas is honored to have been the provider of security and crowd management services for the second annual Route 91 Harvest Festival. 4 Shriners Hospitals for Children Open TPC Summerlin LAS VEGAS, NV - The annual Shriners Hospitals for Children Open was held in Las Vegas October at TPC Summerlin. Founded in 1983, this annual golf tournament is part of the PGA Tour and supports the mission of Shriners Hospitals, which is to provide the highest quality care to children with neuromusculoskeletal conditions, burn injuries and other special healthcare needs within a compassionate, family-centered and collaborative care environment. CSC Las Vegas provided event security services for the tournament under the direction of Patrick Lindsey, Tournament Director, and Brad Howland, Operations Director. CSC Screening Video Shoot MIAMI, FL - CSC recently concluded a video shoot at Marlins Park demonstrating the coordination of the security screening process utilizing bag searches, walk-through metal detectors, hand-held metal detectors, and access control techniques. Today s events require new security procedures to ensure guest safety, with many facilities implementing the use of magnetometers. CSC s screening video illustrates proper techniques and will be used both as a classroom training presentation and a training review at events. 5 Big Sandy Superstore Arena Partnership Big Sandy Arena HUNTINGTON, WV - CSC Huntington is pleased to announce its new partnership with Big Sandy Superstore Arena in Huntington, WV. The 9,000-seat multi-purpose arena hosts events such as concerts, family shows, trade shows, and athletic competitions. The attached 15,000 square foot convention center is a flexible space for meetings, conferences, training sessions, weddings and special events. CSC Huntington s security services for Big Sandy Superstore Arena are provided under the direction of Rik Edgar, General Manager, and Jennifer Sturgeon, Entertainment Manager. CSC Huntington is proud to serve Big Sandy Superstore Arena, SMG, and the City of Huntington. We look forward to a successful partnership. - Matt McKernan Branch Manager, CSC Huntington Aftershock Festival SACRAMENTO, CA - CSC Northern California provided services October for Monster Energy s Aftershock Festival at Gibson Ranch near Sacramento. The 4th annual Aftershock Festival featured a variety of rock and metal acts, as well as other entertainment, including WWE wrestling matches, mini golf, an art zone, and Slipknot s Scream Park with haunted houses. This year s lineup featured Slipknot, Deftones, Faith No More, Marilyn Manson, and many more artists performing across four stages. CSC Northern California, working in collaboration with CSC Fresno, provided services including security for all stages, gates, and backstage, as well as vehicle searches, ticket taking, and 24-hour campsite security. CSC deployed approximately 300 staff each day, and services were provided under the direction of Rob Weekes, Aftershock Festival Security Director.
