2 Project Velocity IP (VIP) AT&T s plan to grow the business and make our services available to millions more customers. $14 billion investment over the next three years expected to expand and enhance our IP wireless and wireline broadband networks $8 billion for wireless $6 billion for wireline 1 million additional businesses expected to benefit from proactive deployment of fiber by year end 2015 An estimated 99 percent of customer locations in our wireline service area expected to have high speed IP connectivity via wireline, 4G LTE or both 300 million people expected to be covered by our 4G LTE network by year end 2014 AT&T plans to densify our wireless network by by adding more than: 10,000+ new cell macro sites 1,000+ distributed antenna systems (DAS) 40,000+ small cells AT&T plans to expand and enhance its wireline IP network to approximately 75 percent of customer locations (consumer and small business) in our wireline service area by year end
