2 WELCOME TO BOLER MOUNTAIN 2015/16 _ Welcome To Boler Mountain Welcome to Boler Mountain - Southwestern Ontario s most dynamic destination for outdoor adventure. We are THE playground for every age and ability. Just like the winter weather, we are keeping things fresh and dynamic. Boler s first chair lift has been retired after a quarter century of service. This season you can enjoy the view on our brand new Columbia Chairlift. With state of the art snow making equipment, we can look forward to another exceptional year of sliding. Last year we had 109 days on snow! Whether that means tubing, snowboarding or skiing, pick your passion! We offer snow school lessons for all levels of ability including those just starting out, to those who are working to achieve faster turns with advanced lessons. Looking to shake things up? We have freestyle lessons and competitive teams for the terrain park enthusiasts. Our winter season is great, however; year round, guests continue to enjoy more and different outdoor adventures with exciting expansions and improvements coming each year to Boler Mountain. A new improved chalet and city bike path connections are in our future. Throughout spring, summer and fall, the Treetop Adventure Park, hidden in the Carolinian forest (look up, it s 40 feet overhead) has continued to bring out the adventurer in all of us by offering zip lining, wobbly bridges, nets, Tarzan swings and more in 5 courses and a Big Zip finish. There is something for everyone, so Just Zip It! The Mountain Bike Trails recently underwent a makeover, adding berms, new sections and easier climbs. Young bike enthusiasts enjoy the trails while at Boler for the summer mountain bike camps in July and August. If you are looking for corporate team building, birthday celebrations, sports team parties or a family outing, you will find them all at Boler Mountain. Boler hosts many events throughout the year that you ll want to mark on your calendars, such as the annual ski and snowboard swap, movie night, mountain bike races, summer festivals, adventure runs and demo days. Boler Mountain is a community resource, nestled right in the community. Capable, engaged and professional staff and volunteers value you, our guest, through.quality experiences, leadership, integrity, accountability and inclusiveness. Make the Boler Mountain playground part of your family s healthy and active lifestyle.. enjoy beautiful Boler Mountain all year long! Smiles await. See you on the slopes, Gary Curtis, President Boler Mountain 2
