2 Planning a Special Event? We are here to serve you! Taher offers a full range of catering expertise. Let us help you plan your special gathering! Our guidelines and policies help to assist you in booking a catered event with Beaver Dam School District. Please contact the food service department at to discuss the food service requirements for your event. Beaver Dam Catering takes pride in offering creative menus with tastes and flavors that reflect the Beaver Dam School District s focus on nutrition and adherence to exacting standards. Our Culinary Team uses only the finest quality and freshest of ingredients to produce our recipes. The Taher staff will help you with your menu selection. Choose from a variety of culinary favorites from our pre-established menu or, if you prefer, customize a menu for your event. If there is a program before or after the meal, please notify the Food Service Director. There may be additional labor charges for service requirements that extend beyond the designated service window for your event. Catering activities requested outside normal school schedule such as holiday breaks or extended breaks and during the summer will incur a labor charge of $25 per hour per hourly staff member as required at a minimum of 4 hours. A waiver of the labor charge may be granted under special circumstances at the discretion of the Food Service Director. In arranging catered events, guaranteed attendance must be specified FOUR business days in advance of the event. This will allow ample time to finalize the ordering and planning process. You will be responsible for the guaranteed amount or actual number in attendance, whichever is greater. Beaver Dam Catering will generate a catering invoice for each event. The invoice will include the name of the customer, event name, date, invoice number, description of the services, quantity and invoice amount. Catering invoices will be generated at the end of each month. Customers will receive the original invoice to be returned to the Food Service Director with a check or cash in that amount owed. All cancellations must be submitted to the Food Service Director by calling or ing no later than 5 business days prior to the function to avoid a cancellation fee. Events or items cancelled less than 5 business days before the scheduled functions could be subject to a 50% cancellation fee depending on the items and services requested. Events cancelled with less than 24 hours of the scheduled function may be charged 100% of the estimated food and beverage charge unless waived by the Food Service Director. Chinette plates, cups, napkins, table cloths and plastic utensils are provided. We also can provide flowers or balloons for your centerpiece.
