1 Graduation 2016 Attention: September 15, 2015 and April 30, 2016 Graduates: Enclosed is detailed information for Holy Apostles April 30 th, 2016 graduation, along with the Graduation Day Schedule, and a Graduation Response Form. Please complete the requested information and return the Response Form to my attention on or before March 15, DEGREE APPLICATION: To have your name entered on the graduation List I need to have a completed Degree Application from you in my file. September 15, 2015 Graduate- I have your completed Degree Application. April 30, 2016 Graduate- Please be sure that you have turned in a completed Degree Application to me, as this is the only way that your name will be entered on the Graduation List. Should you need to confirm that I have received your completed Degree Application, you may contact me at mgunn@holyapostles.edu. ONLINE LEARNING GRADUATES- CAMPUS TOUR: OPTIONAL Online Learning graduates and guests interested in participating in the Campus Tour, please fill out and return the Graduation Response Form. Report to the Lobby in St. Peter s Hall at 8:45 a.m. on graduation day. Our Campus Tour Guide will greet you and your guest(s) and at 9:00 a.m. sharp will proceed with the tour. ONLINE LEARNING GRADUATES AND GUESTS LUNCHEON-OPTIONAL Several Online Faculty and staff members welcome Online graduates and their guests to join them in the Alumni Room for lunch at 11:00 a.m. Please allow yourself enough time, as rehearsal is scheduled for 12:45 p.m. Please obtain your lunch prior to advancing to the Alumni Room. CAP AND GOWN PICK-UP SCHEDULE: Thursday, April 28, :30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Friday, April 29, :30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 30, :30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. NOTE: Return your gown and hood PRIOR to attending the Reception. Instruct your guests to proceed directly to the Main Dining Room. Graduates only proceed directly to the Main Lobby to return your gown and hood. Graduates that already received their diploma (September graduates), please return the Blue Binder at that time. Gown and hood must be returned on its hanger-no EXCEPTIONS! You may keep your cap and tassel.
2 Page -2- BLUE DIPLOMA BINDER: Graduates that have already received their diploma from Holy Apostles in September, 2015 must return the Blue Binder, which was given at the graduation ceremony. Graduates receiving their diplomas in April, please keep the Blue Binder and your diploma will be sent to you via US Mail. April graduates can expect their diploma via US Postal Service mid to late May REHEARSAL- 12:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.: Mrs. Mary Regan will be conducting the rehearsal on graduation day. Rehearsal will commence at 12:45 p.m. in St. John Hall-Classroom 3. All graduates are expected to attend rehearsal. Please do not bring your graduation attire with you at this time. At 4:00 p.m., after the Baccalaureate Mass, please return to St. John Hall Classroom 3 with your graduation attire. Staff will be there to assist you with your attire and Mrs. Regan will assist with the line-up. Graduates will then proceed to the Chapel and graduation will commence promptly at 4:30 p.m. Once the set up for graduation has been completed, guests can then proceed inside the Chapel. Immediately following the graduation commencement, you and your guest(s) are invited to the Graduation Reception to be held in the seminary dining room in St. Peter s Hall on the campus of Holy Apostles College and Seminary. INVITED GUESTS: Graduates please return the enclosed Graduation Response Form no later than March 15, 2016, indicating number of your guests that will be attending the following activities: Graduation, Luncheon, Reception and Campus Tour. We have limited seating, but will try to accommodate family members and close friends of our graduates. To help with the many responses I receive, please create a new to me attaching the completed Response Form. GRADUATION FEE: $ Seminarians: The Business Office will send out invoices to your diocese for payment. On Campus and Online Graduates: Please make your payment through Populi. N0TE: Please be advised that all academic and financial obligations must be completed in order to receive your diploma and transcript. For your convenience, I have listed some general information. The following motels have quoted Holy Apostles a special graduation rate. Please mention Holy Apostles College & Seminary s graduation in order to qualify for the rates listed below.
