Transwestern s Midwest (ISG) has closed $1.2 billion dollars of transactions since 1999, working on behalf of a diverse group of institutional and private equity clients. Led by Gary Nussbaum, our team brings over three decades of investment sales brokerage experience and a disciplined marketing and disposition process. We present a unique, investment banking approach by integrating local market knowledge and capital markets expertise with our national platform. Additionally, our clients benefit from access to internal property management consultants, leasing brokers, and capital markets experts as well as our broad investor relationships both local and global. We offer access to revealing research information regarding current market conditions. Our research affiliate, Delta Associates, provides insight on capital and asset market fundamentals affecting office and industrial property types. 3 Our Team Gary Nussbaum Managing Director Thomas Gorman Managing Director Gary directs investment sales and real estate investment banking activities throughout the Midwest region. His primary focus is originating, structuring and executing office and industrial investment sales and capital market transactions for institutional, corporate, and private owners of real estate. Gary began his career in commercial real estate in 1990 and joined Transwestern in 1999 to direct the firm s Midwest Investment Services Group. Since 1995, Gary has participated in investment sales assignments involving over 18 million square feet of office and industrial property, single asset and portfolio sales in the Midwest. Gary earned a B.A. in Geology from the University of California at Santa Barbara and an M.B.A. in Finance and Real Estate from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. He holds an Illinois Real Estate Broker License. Tom is responsible for the origination, structure, and sale of institutional real estate investments, real estate capital markets structuring, financial analysis, and strategic marketing implementation, transaction management, and new business development. He performs these duties for Transwestern s investment sales and real estate investment banking clients throughout the Midwest region. Tom began his career in commercial real estate in 1987 and joined Transwestern in He has participated in investment sales assignments involving over 17 million square feet of office and industrial property, single asset and portfolio sales in the Midwest. In 2007, Tom and his team were honored to receive the President s Award for Transwestern s Midwest Region. Tom has a B.S. in Finance and Economics from the University of Illinois. He is a licensed Illinois Real Estate Agent. Matthew Mitchell Associate Director matthew.mitchell@transwestern.net Kelli Nicole Hardman Marketing Coordinator & Graphic Designer kelli.hardman@transwestern.net As Associate Director in Transwestern s Investment Services Group, Matthew Mitchell helps clients optimize the value of their commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions through detailed financial underwriting and the preparation of investment offering memorandums. Applying a hands-on approach with attention given to every detail of a transaction, Matthew analyzes financial terms, prepares cash flow projection, evaluates debt and equity capital structures, and utilizes proprietary pricing models to facilitate transactions at the most favorable terms for our clients. Matthew also researches asset and capital market conditions and constantly monitors buying and selling activity in the Midwest commercial real estate investment market. Matthew earned dual Masters degrees in Real Estate and Finance from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver (2004), and a Bachelors of Science in Communications from Northwestern University (1997). Kelli s efforts are centered on providing outstanding visual representation and cutting edge marketing strategies for each client. She oversees all marketing graphics for the Investment Services Group and designs offering memorandums, flash and print flyers, advertisements and invitations. She also coordinates property showings, marketing lists and closing events. Kelli has been a member of Transwestern since the fall of She offers a unique eye for design and recently implemented in-house, custom design of flash marketing flyers, which offers clients the latest in technology and design, along with significant cost savings. Kelli received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre from Michigan State University with a minor in Communications. She is a graduate of the Purple Rose Theatre Company s Apprenticeship Program and was the recipient of Transwestern s Midwest Region Award for Marketing Support Person of the Year in 2006 and the President s Award in 2007.
