The Homestead, surrounded by a 3 acre historic botanical garden designed by William Guilfoyle, former Director of the Melbourne Botanical Gardens, is a living example of the splendour and grandeur of the Victorian era. Hold your ceremony and/or reception here, and even stay overnight before or after your wedding whatever the choice you can be assured you will find the perfect location for your ceremony. YOUR GARDEN CEREMONY Take your wedding vows under majestic, historic trees on manicured lawns with your guests looking on from the garden or verandah of the 125 year old homestead. With our ceremony-only package you may choose your exact location and arrangement for both the ceremony and your photographs; guests may be seated or standing, you may have drinks for you and your guests before or after the ceremony, or you may choose any number of rural settings for your photographs. Or you may wish to choose for your wedding reception. YOUR GARDEN OR HOMESTEAD RECEPTION After your garden ceremony and photographs you can then move onto your reception in a marquee set up on Quamby s Croquet Lawn or in the Homestead. Have drinks on the lawn or in the marquee or Homestead, either way you and your guests can celebrate your special day in garden surrounds. We have an exclusive agreement with Wyton Events and Catering for all your reception requirements. They will take care of all your event catering. YOUR WEDDING NIGHT With our beautifully restored 4 star guest accommodation you and up to 14 other guests can stay at Quamby Homestead after your wedding reception. Or you may also wish to stay the night before your wedding to have a leisurely and elegant start to your very special day. If you have friends and family visiting from further afield they may like to take a longer break and stay for a long weekend. We have a number of special accommodation packages and offers for weddings - from our classic School House for the Bride and Groom, our Queen and Twin Mews Rooms to our larger Carriage House for a family, all historical buildings with a story to tell.

We can provide you with a quote for additional hospitality options for the following: Additional access to the formal Homestead Guest Lounge/Bar and Dining Rooms for drinks Bar service before the ceremony Bar service after the ceremony A range of wine, beer, sparkling wine and soft drinks available from our standard drinks menu. CEREMONY & GARDEN RECEPTION VENUE PACKAGE 2 from $2000 incl. GST per night 3 : Special Wedding price for the hire of all the guest accommodation for your wedding party 15% discount which means the School House is free for the wedding couple on your wedding night Guaranteed exclusive use of gardens and accommodation Accommodation for up to 16 guests Includes continental breakfast served in the Homestead Dining Room or on the Homestead Breakfast Verandah To take advantage of this deal all the accommodation must be booked in a single booking transaction as part of the venue booking COMBINED CEREMONY/MARQUEE RECEPTION/ACCOMMODATION PACKAGE from $3000 incl. 4 WEDDING PREPARATION ROOM OFFERS - from $140 incl. GST per day/night: Perhaps you are holding only your ceremony at Quamby but would still like to prepare for your wedding here? We can make guest rooms available for wedding preparations for yourself and/or your bridal party. Invite your hairdresser and/or beauty therapist to Quamby for your preparation - or even a pre-wedding massage. Special Room-only rates for wedding clients from $140 Early 'check-in' access to guest rooms (from 11am) Why not start your wedding day in comfort with tea and coffee facilities in all rooms, licensed bar in the Homestead and beautiful gardens to relax in before the big event BOOKING TIMES/PERIODS Weddings may be held at all year subject to availability of the date and time requested (please note that Garden Marquee Receptions are normally held between October and April, however please discuss your individual requirements with us). We cannot offer for wedding ceremonies and/or receptions on specific peak dates (see Terms and Conditions) and if certain peak dates are available, a surcharge may be payable for ceremonies held on these dates classified as peak, including public holidays (see Terms and Conditions). CEREMONY-ONLY -You can hold your ceremony between 11am (ceremony commencement) and 4.30pm (ceremony and photograph completion) for appointment periods of up to 2 hours. This is because also operates as a Bed & Breakfast and we have duties to our other guests. If you wish to hold your ceremony and photographs beyond 4.30pm additional charges will apply (additional staffing is required). Please be aware also, that because a garden is a seasonal environment there will be variations in the appearance of the garden depending upon the time of year chosen. CEREMONY &RECEPTION You may hold your ceremony from 11am onwards and there is no later time limit other than that dictated by the Liquor Licence. ACCOMMODATION 45 is a 4* Bed & Breakfast and we can offer you and your guests a range of guest rooms for up to 16 guests. If you wish to book all the accommodation on the night of your wedding we have a special wedding group accommodation package (see above) that has a continental breakfast included this gives you the School House free for your wedding night. And if you would like your guests to be able to stay for another night or two we have further details on our website or the accompanying Accommodation Guide for Weddings. 5 ADDITIONAL WEDDING SERVICES: We understand that a wedding is once in a lifetime event and a very big event to organise, so to help you plan your day on our website we have provided a list of key partners with whom we work. This list includes a selection of services such as Photographers, Celebrants, Party hire and Planning specialists, car/limousine hire as well as some very special services such as Butler for a day and Groom and Groomsman packages. You may want to pamper yourselves before the ceremony or arrange for your hair and makeup onsite whatever the feature we have a selection of local providers to help you in your planning.
