2 MURANÓW CONFERENCE CENTER T he spacious, modern Muranów Conference Center, located in the heart of Warsaw at POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews, offers its guests an auditorium, four workshop rooms, two conference rooms, a foyer and a remarkable main hall. The Center is equipped with an elaborate sound system, cinema projectors and professional stage lighting. The Muranów Conference Center is an ideal place to hold conferences, workshops, film screenings, concerts, television broadcasts and other cultural events.

3 THE BUILDING T he POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews building was designed by Finnish architect Rainer Mahlamäki. The remarkable, visionary design was selected in an international architectural competition out of over 100 proposals. The building won the Chicago Athenaeum International Architecture Award in 2008 and the Eurobuild Award in the Architectural Design of the Year category in 2013.

6 MURANÓW CONFERENCE CENTER The building s simple, geometric façade, covered with glass panels, immediately draws attention. The glass fins are inscribed with Hebrew and Latin letters forming the word POLIN a reference to the legend of the Jews arrival in Poland.

Its soaring curvilinear walls are an example of state-of-the-art architectural innovation. Visitors enter a monumental, luminous space symbolizing the parting of the Red Sea. Enormous glass windows at both ends make the hall radiate with energy and illuminate its interior. Equipped with professional sound, lighting and multimedia systems, it is the perfect place for conferences, concerts, performances and film screenings. The auditorium is equipped with stage facilities: dressing rooms, cloakrooms, rooms for organizers as well as booths for interpreters. The rooms can accommodate ca. 150 people, depending on the arrangement. 11 MURANÓW CONFERENCE CENTER WORKSHOP ROOMS Four rooms with an area between 47 m 2 and 57 m 2 are available for workshops, training sessions and meetings. Each room can accommodate up to 40 people. Next to the workshop rooms is a spacious and comfortable foyer which can serve as a catering or display area.
