21 Strong Bases Completely ionized in water. NaOH, KOH, Ba(OH) 2 Group 1 & 2 hydroxides. All ionize completely, even though some are only slightly soluble (e.g. Mg(OH) 2.) KOH H 2 O K + (aq) + OH - (aq) Bronsted base 21
