2 Invitation ******* 1 st Morocco Open International Taekwondo Tournament Dear Taekwondo Family; On behalf of The Moroccan Royal federation for Taekwondo, I would like to extent my sincere appreciation, pride and delight to invite you and your athletes to participate in Morocco International Taekwondo Open G1, which will take place in Agadir from the 27 to the 29 of November 2015, in Agadir City. We will undoubtedly offer to all participants, high quality organization with the best ranked referees for the sake of guaranteeing a good procedure of transparency and fair play for all athletes. We believe that this International Open will serve as the best opportunity for Taekwondo Family to display their Taekwondo Skills and of course enjoying the thrilling moments of competing and tasting the real sense of friendship. our Main objective is making this Tournament a successful Event, which will only be reached by establishing to set of a great stage to witness the greatest display of Taekwondo Skill never seen before. Rest assured that the World Taekwondo Federation WTF, African Taekwondo union AFTU and the Organizing Committee will do its utmost effort to ensure the success of the championships. 6 3) Qualifications: Division Senior Qualifications a- Holder of WTF Global Athlete License (GAL). b- Holder of the Kukkiwon Dan Certificate. c-moroccan/non-moroccan will compete together in each category. d-600 players is the limit of the participants for this category. e-seniors: Athletes born on December 31,1997 or before, are eligible to participate. 4) WTF ATHLETE LICENSE: Please take note that entry submission without complete application for athlete license will not be accepted. Or please contact Mr.Kabir Kar the WTF Global Licence Administation Manager at gmsadmin@wtf.org 5) COMPETITION RULES : a. Competitions follow the WTF Rules. b. Daedo as the protector and scoring system (PSS) will be used for the competition. c. Participants are required to wear WTF-recognized doboks and protective equipment. d. The O.C will provide Daedo PSS Hugo to the participating contestants and Taekwondo Head Gear as well. However, participating contestants are required to bring their, groin guards, mouthpieces, gloves, sensing socks and shin & fore arm guards for their personal use. e. Each Team can participate with more than one player in each weight. 6)WEIGH-IN : Weigh- in of all contestants shall be completed one day before their scheduled competition During the weigh in, male contestants shall wear underpants and female contestants shall wear underpants and brassieres. However.

7 Changing of weight classes after deadline is only possible for a fee of ( 20 Euro ) at registration at the Sport Hall. After the official weigh-in no further modifications will be made. 2 minutes x 3 rounds and 1 minute rest between rounds 7) REGISTERATION Teams should register online only through ( regonline.com) Taking into consideration the Deadline is October the 31 st, ) CLASSIFICATION OF RESULTS a) INDIVIDUAL AWARDS BY RANK : medals will be awarded to the top four athletes in the respective weight division : 1 st PLACE : GOLD MEDAL & CERTIFICATE 2 nd PLACE : SILVER MEDAL &CERTIFICATE 3 rd PLACE : BRONZE MEDAL & CERTIFICATE 3 rd PLACE : BRONZE MEDAL & CERTIFICATE b) TEAM AWARDS BY RANK : Based on the point system below, the top Five (5) Teams of the Men s division and the top Five (5) teams of the Women s division will receive trophies. RATIONALE Points For every contestant who passed the official weight-in 1 For every Gold Medal 7 For every Silver Medal 3 For every Bronze Medal 1

8 Technical Details: 1 st Morocco Open International Taekwondo Tournament The OC will appoint the Technical Officials such, Competition Supervisory Board (while the Technical Delegate will be appointed by the WTF recommended by AFTU), and International Referees in coordination with the WTF Referees Division. a) Technical Delegate : one (1) Technical Delegate will be appointed to oversee the Tournament and make decision on technical matters. b) Supervisory Board : three (3) Competition Supervisory Board members (including Technical Delegate) will be appointed. the Organizing Committee shall pay for the expenses of room and board for Competition Supervisory Board Members for (4) night stay; check in NOV the 26 and checkout NOV the 30 th c) International Referees : Thirty (30) International Referees, including Review Jury, will be appointed to officiate during the Tournament. The Organizing Committee shall pay for the expenses of room and board for International Referees for (3) nights stay; Check-in on NOV check-out on the 30 th of NOV The Organizing Committee shall pay a per diem of US100 Dollar to the Selected Technical Officials during competition period (for actual Competition Days). Head of Team meeting and Drawing Lots Session: a) The Head of Team meetings and the drawing of lots session shall be conducted one day prior to the start of the Championships that is of NOV 27 th, 2015 in the presence of the OC officials and the representatives of the Technical Delegates. b) The method of draw shall be decided by the technical delegate.

9 c) Seeding (for the Seniors event) : I. According to the bylaw of the WTF World Ranking, twenty five percent of the registered athletes per weight division will be seeded based on the WTF World Ranking as NOV the 1 st, II. In the event that the registered athlete from the host nation has not been included in the 25% he/she will be seeded at the last place of the seed 25%. III. 25% of the seeded athletes will be finally determined after completion of team registration. INDEMNITIES: All competitions are considered to participate at their own risk. The Moroccan Royal Federation for taekwondo and the Organizing Committee assume no responsibility for any damage, injuries or losses. Due to circumstances the Organization committee can decide to adjust the competition and all contestants must bring their own documents and forms for any medical insurance in Morocco, If not, this will have to be paid in cash. Coaches:. Only competitors and coaches have admittance to the competition areas. Coaches can enter the competition area only with proper Sport shoes and proper tracksuit. All coaches must be 18 years or older. Protest: As we use IVR (Instant Video Replay), protest is not allowed.

10 . Anti-Doping Test : 1 st Morocco Open International Taekwondo Tournament Use of drugs or doping by any chemical substances prescribed in the WTF. All participating athletes can be subject to no-advance-notice doping controls throughout the competition. Entry Fees 70 (Euro) for each contestant before the regular dead line.(seniors) 90 (Euro) for each contestant after dead line. 11 TRANSPORTATION: AL Massira International Airport: Agadir Airoport Al Massira (AGA) Maroc is located approximately 20 km (30 minute - drive) from Inbiaat Sport HALL and the Hotel. In addition to domestic flights to all major Morocco cities, this airport serves international direct flights from most of European Capitals like Paris, bruxelles, Oslo.. The (OC) will take charge of Transportation for Teams only in Agdair City ) AL Massira Airport is the Second International Airport in Agadir Casablanca International Airport: Mohamed V Casablanca International Airoport Airport (CMN ) is an international airport in Morocco, It is the first busiest airport in the country, It is located approximately 466 km (4H 44min - drive) from Casablanca to Agadir. * Casablanca to Agadir : participating Teams can take main of Transportation from Casablanca to Agadir like ( Train, Cars, or Buses or domestic Aero plains at their Own Expenses). Note : the Organizing Committee Can Provide Pick up and Drop from Casablanca Airport to Agadir City and Back for your Team subject the reservation and booking one week in advance. The (OC) will provide the Price according to the number of persons in the participating delegation.
