Time period (how many hours and what time of day). More will be consumed during the evening hours. c. How many options will you be pouring (beer or mixed drinks?) Estimate how many folks drink wine vs beer or soft drinks. d. Figure a 5 oz. glass per hour per person. If later in the evening perhaps more. e. Usually the sparkling wine is only served as a toast or perhaps with wedding cake. A good estimate is 3 oz. per person served. f. each 750ml bottle holds 25 oz. so plan on 8 servings of bubbles per bottle, or 5 servings of wine per bottle. g. A case of wine has 12 bottles, so that s 96 servings of Sparkling or 60 servings of wine per case.
