1 AUDIO A particular student is not able to hear me? Follow these steps: 1. Ask the student to check his/her headset and speakers. Go to the device settings of the class, click on the test speaker and confirm if student is able to hear the music. 2. The headset jack might not be plugged in properly, hence check for the same. The headset could also be switched off. 3. The Headset volume might be set too low, and/or muted..
2 No one in the class is able to hear me? Follow these steps: 1. Check by right clicking inside the classroom that you have not clicked on deny.right click inside classroom and click settings and select second Tab. See if the DENY icon is checked. Click on allow, if deny is selected. 2. Check whether if microphone is not mute in the class. 3. If Yes, Then Un-Mute it. 4. Also check whether the system microphone is muted: 5. If Yes, then Un-Mute it. Also increase the volume if its low.
3 For Windows 7 Check if your mic is not muted from system s Recording control settings. Right click on the Volume icon and click on OPEN VOLUME MIXER and the following Image will appear Click on the system sounds as shown above. Then select the recording tab as shown in next image. Then double click on microphone then the following image will appear, adjust the mic level and reduce the mic boost to zero.
4 After this select the 4th tab Communications and click on the last option which says do nothing as shown in image below.
5 There is a lot of feed-back or ECHO. I spoke a sentence and I could hear my voice speaking the same sentence over and over again. For Windows XP Feedback of your audio can be due to following reasons The Student is having audio control in session and audio from his system feedback is looping back to presenter s system. So basically on student s system STEREO MIX option is checked instead of MIC which is sending presenter s audio from student s system back to presenter. See following image, see window RECORDING CONTROL if stereo mix option is checked on a computer of a student who is having audio controls then echo and feedback issue can come at other listener s end. So stereo mix option shouldn t be checked on any system either presenter or attendee. MIC should be the only input device selected on the system has mentioned in images wrong and correct settings. Right click on the volume icon at the bottom right corner and select open volume control then there will be window of master volume, click on options and select properties.
6 In adobe settings reduce echo checkbox should be checked. If speakers are being used by any person who is having audio /video controls then obviously audio feedback will come, so use headphones only.
7 I hear lot of humming sound from other user s end. Other user may have selected boost option for his microphone. As shown in below images. If advance controls are selected for MIC volume then under advanced button boost option may be checked as shown below. Ask other user to unselect Microphone Boost option. Check that you have selected correct device from device settings window of class.
8 Check your MIC inside the class device settings by recording your audio by clicking on Test Microphone (as shown in next image) button see if you are able to listen to the audio played back. After sometime your audio will be played back, make sure you are able to hear that. Check in device settings that microphone gain is not set to minimum. If it is set to minimum (0 to 20) then uncheck Auto Adjust and move slider to middle or up to 70 (see second image below).
9 My sound is cutting at other user s end OR other user s sound is cutting at my end. Check that latency at your end is not more than 500 milliseconds in latency window. If is high then close all other browser windows which are using internet. If still audio is not reaching to others then refresh and again come back in session.. No Audio Device appears in my Adobe flash settings or Device settings window. It doesn t list any drivers. As shown below. It means your Audio drivers are not installed properly. On a system having properly installed audio drivers adobe flash settings must list the drivers as shown below.
10 Why to click on Allow when presenter gives me audio controls and allow deny window appears. By clicking allow your audio/video will transmit to other user.
