1 MOHICAN STATE PARK LODGE & CONFERENCE CENTER WEDDING GUIDELINES CONGRATULATIONS! LET US HELP YOU WITH YOUR PLANNING! Thank you for your interest in Mohican Lodge as a location for your wedding! Receptions at Mohican Lodge for up to 150 guests are held in our Ballroom. An outdoor ceremony on our public patio, weather permitting, is also available. We provide all catering services, except for the wedding cake. Current catering menus are listed on our website. Click on Groups & Weddings Button Click on Banquet Menus on the Right And Click on the Banquet Menu.pdf in the Middle of the Page. Overnight Guestrooms are also available for you and your guests. We do recommend an on-site visit to tour our Lodge and Ballroom. We want to be sure we are the perfect match for you! 2 To make every wedding reception a successful and memorable event, Mohican Lodge has adopted the following wedding guidelines. If you have any questions concerning these policies, please contact the Group Sales & Catering Office at between 9:00am and 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Saturday and Sunday hours are by appointment. Bookings for wedding receptions can be made up to one year in advance. Please note, due to the popularity of the lodge and nature of our business, limited dates are available for wedding receptions. Also note, we typically do not host wedding ceremonies because of our limited space. Instead, many couples choose to get married at a local church and come here for their reception. Some also choose our location for their rehearsal dinner, bridal luncheon, honeymoon, post-wedding breakfast or a block of guestrooms. SET-UP/RENTAL FEES: Function area set-up/rental fees depend upon space requirements for your event. For Ballroom: $ Fee + Tax = $ Total Our Ballroom can accommodate approximately 150 guests. Dance Floor (15 feet square) with DJ table and electrical service at no additional charge. Our Ballroom is located at the center of the lodge. For Tribal Room: $ Fee + Tax = $ Total The Tribal Room can accommodate approximately 60 guests. Dance Floor & DJ not possible in this room. Our Tribal Room does have windows that overlook the patio and lake. Set-up Fee also includes: cake table, gift table, head table, podium for guest book, white skirting, white table linens, linen napkins (in-house colors only), set-up and clean-up of room. Please note that we are a non-smoking facility. ADD Outdoor Ceremony on Public Patio $ Set-Up & Delivery* Fees + $3.00/Chair* % Sales Tax (*Pricing Subject to Change). Please contact Group Sales for further details. Rain Plan - Ceremony in Reception Room with Guests seated at Banquet Tables.

3 HOURS OF AVAILABILITY No access to the function space will be guaranteed before 1:00pm the day of the reception June October dates OR 4pm the day of the reception November - May. However, every attempt will be made to allow access as early as possible. The function space must be vacated by guests by 11:00pm. HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS Our Group Sales & Catering Office will be happy to arrange for overnight stays with discounted Group Rates, based upon your event date and estimated guests. A deposit for each room will be required to secure the reservation when made. Some weekends, especially from June through October, will be designated as a two-night minimum stay. Saturday night only stays cannot be blocked or guaranteed on our contracts. Our posted check-in time is 3:00pm and check-out is 12:00pm Noon. If arrangements require an early check-in or late check-out, please reserve those room(s) for the night prior to the event or the night after the event. BILLING A deposit for all the function space and a signed copy of the Event Confirmation Order (contract) are due within 10 working days of receipt of contract in order to hold the space. The deposit will be considered non-refundable if the reception is cancelled less than six months prior to your reserved date. A second deposit of $3, minimum for a Ballroom Reception, OR $ minimum for a Tribal Room Reception, to be applied to catered food and alcohol is due 14 days prior to your reserved date. Any remaining balance is due upon the conclusion of your event, and is payable at the Front Desk.

4 CATERING ARRANGEMENTS Mohican Lodge has a full-service catering department ready to assist with your reception. Our Chef and staff can prepare appetizers, a hot buffet or plated meal (for 100 people or less) to compliment the day s festivities. If you don t find what you want on the catering menus, please ask, as we can provide most any food requests. Food and beverage selections must be finalized no later than 30 days prior to the function. Please note, all food and beverage, with the exception of the wedding cake & favors, must be provided by the Lodge. No outside catering is permitted. A service charge of 20.0% plus the 6.75% sales tax will be applied to all food and beverage items. A minimum of $3, ($3,843.00, inclusive of service charge and tax) in catering food & bar is required to book the Ballroom. No minimum is required to book the Tribal Room. Most couples choose our Two-Entrée Dinner Buffet at $21.95/person. ($28.12/person, inclusive of service charge and tax.) Menus are listed on our website. Menus and pricing are subject to change. GUARANTEED NUMBER An initial count of the number of people attending your function will be due 30 days prior to your date. An updated count will be due 14 days prior, and the final guaranteed count is due 3 days prior to the function. If the number of attendees is less than the 3-day guaranteed count, payment will still be based on the guaranteed count provided. Every effort will be made to accommodate additional last minute guests. Please Note: A minimum of $3, in catering food & bar is required to book the Ballroom, as indicated above. BAR ARRANGEMENTS Our Boxer s Lounge offers full bar services, including champagnes and sparkling grape juices. Please ask for our Beverage Menu for the service options available, plus our current selection list(s). Any beverage and wine selections must be finalized no later than 30 days prior to the function. Please note, per state liquor laws, all alcoholic beverages must be provided by the Lodge. A service charge of 20.0% plus the 6.75% sales tax will be added to all alcoholic beverages served.

5 CAKE ARRANGEMENTS Wedding cakes should be delivered the day of the reception. Sorry, but overnight storage and/or refrigeration is NOT available. You will need to make your own arrangements for set-up of the cake, plus collection and return of all display pieces that accompany your cake. Friends and family are welcome to cut the cake. If you wish, we can schedule our staff, for a $50.00 service fee, to cut and plate the cake for you. The cake will be displayed on a table covered and skirted in white linen with plates, napkins, forks, and cake knife/server set provided. DECORATIONS Function space may be decorated. However, nails, tacks, staples, etc. may not be used in the walls, beams or ceiling; and no exit signs may be covered. It is the responsibility of the person who is decorating to bring all decorating supplies needed. Ladders and extension cords will be available for use upon request. Fresh cut flowers, centerpieces and any other decorations should be delivered or done the day of the reception. Sorry, but refrigeration is NOT available. Our tables seating 8 to 10 people are set with white table cloths and linen napkins. In-House colors are: Evergreen, Rust, Gold, Christmas Red, Wedgewood Blue. Alternate colors to match your wedding can be rented for an additional charge; please contact the Group Sales Office for further information. Candles are permitted, but the flame MUST be surrounded by some type of glass globe. For safety reasons, no open flame candles of any type will be allowed. In addition, highly flammable decorations such as, cornstalks, straw, cut Christmas trees, etc. are against fire codes. If you have any doubts concerning your decorations meeting fire codes, please call Group Sales for assistance. If you are planning to use confetti, glitter, flower petals, bird seed, rice, etc. an additional $50.00 clean up fee will be charged. Replacement costs will be charged for any linen damaged or stained via decorations. Mohican Lodge is not responsible for any items left unattended. ENTERTAINMENT Entertainment may be hired on your own; or we can make DJ arrangements, at an additional charge, for you in the Ballroom. (A DJ is not possible in the Tribal Room.) Please advise the Group Sales Office of any other entertainment plans so that the necessary arrangements can be made. Thank you for your interest in Mohican State Park Lodge.
