Perform the job function with the aim of meeting the strategic goal of the department and the organisation; 2. Perform all functions of the Health Solutions warehouse operations in accordance with the organisational policies and procedures; 3. Good written and verbal and written communication skills; 2. Computer literacy; 3. Basic knowledge of MHE; 4. Knowledge of warehousing principles and policies.. 1. Previous experience in a fast paced, high volume distribution retail warehouse environment; 2. Must possess good warehousing skills and have a sound knowledge of warehousing principals including warehouse safety and safe work practices; 3. Sound verbal and written communication skills; 4. Computer literacy particularly exposure to database packages; 5. Certificate II in Warehousing and Distribution (Level 2. Qualified); 6. A Current Forklift licence (Level 2. Qualified).. 1. Previous experience in a fast paced, high volume distribution retail warehouse environment; 2. 2 3. Sound verbal and written communication skills; 4. An understanding and grasp of product knowledge relevant to the area of continence and wound care; 5. Computer literacy particularly exposure to database packages; 6. Previous practical experience / knowledge of Greentree system / inventory / accounts receivable computer system is an advantage; 7. Demonstrated supervisory experience will be viewed favourably; 8. Certificate III or Certificate IV in Warehousing and Distribution (Level 3 Qualified); 9. A Current Forklift licence. Attend training provided or organised by Independence Australia to ensure compliance with OH&S requirements. Assist with preparation for quality/aqtf/iso audits when required. Identify opportunities for best practice and continuous improvement and communicate these effectively with the team and the organisation. Ensure that customer service and quality measures are followed. Communicate with customers (internal and external) in a positive, clear and timely manner. 5 Independence Australia Code of Conduct Any relevant departmental procedures and manuals Key Result Areas (Job Specific) Result Area and Operational Standards Warehouse Operations As detailed in Health Solutions Quality Procedures and relevant Work Instructions Tasks/Responsibilities LEVEL 1 Picking orders off shelves and pack ready for despatch. Receipt stock and locate stock in the warehouse and process return goods and applicable credits. Participate in the annual stock take. Preparation and dispatch of customer orders in the most economical manner. Responsible for housekeeping and to maintain the warehouse in a clean, safe and secure manner. As per Level 1. Prepare labelling and consignment roles using the computer. Process return goods and applicable credits. Able to coordinate work in a team environment under limited supervision. Operate a forklift (qualified). As Per Level 1 & 2. The conduct of regular spot checks and partake and assist with the annual stock take. Is responsible for the supervision and the conduct of work of other warehouse employees. Monitoring and Reporting In accordance with the relevant Health Solutions Work Instructions: Accurately record and maintain Health Solutions Warehousing K.P.I.s and statistics. 6 Business Systems Warehouse Development Quality Assurance Business improvement register Able to understand detailed instructions and work from procedures. Ensure effective use of computerised support systems at a higher level than Level 1. Use of systems for purposed such as maintenance of a storage system, information input/retrieval at a higher level that level 2. Undertake multi skilling and training incentives as requested. Development and refinement of store layout including proper location of goods and their receipt and despatch. Responsible for quality of own work. Understands and is responsible for quality control standards. Other Working Conditions PROPERTY ITEMS (mobile phone etc.): WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position operates in a smoke free, warehouse environment. Exposure to manual tasks such as carrying, standing, walking, kneeling and reaching is frequent. OTHER WORKING CONDITIONS: As per the provisions in the ParaQuad Victoria Staff Enterprise Agreement Every twelve months the Store Person in conjunction with the Warehouse Supervisor will develop a performance agreement based on their job description and the approved Business Plan.
