Nearly 20 years in the making, the $35 million, 107,000-squarefoot Richard and Margot Warch Campus Center opened in September The building embraces the beauty of the surrounding Fox River with its open spaces and high ceilings, amazing views, natural stone, green roof and access to a river walk. Offering 10 magnificent informal and formal gathering spaces for groups of all sizes, the Warch Campus Center truly has something for everyone. Designed for versatility, each room provides flexible setups depending on individual needs. This LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)- certified Gold facility was awarded the 2009 Best Building in Wisconsin by The Daily Reporter and Wisconsin Builder Magazine. The Warch Campus Center was designed, built, and is operated in an environmentally responsible way. Onsite catering managers and chefs, paired with the superb capabilities of Bon Appétit Management Company, ensure all food, beverage and bar details are expertly managed. 2 Extraordinary signature spaces The Somerset Room is one of the most soughtafter meeting venues in the Fox Cities View of the Somerset Room from the Nathan Marsh Pusey Room The Nathan Marsh Pusey Room provides an elegant setting for meetings or business receptions These formal gathering spaces of the University can be utilized individually or combined to accommodate larger meetings and banquets. Both rooms are equipped with state of the art A/V inputs and lighting. The Somerset Room features a maple floor, vaulted ceiling and a wall of floor-to ceiling windows overlooking the Fox River. The Nathan Marsh Pusey Room is adorned with a rich quarter-sawn cherry interior, a cozy fireplace and breathtaking views and can be reserved for small meetings, receptions, recitals and intimate dinners. 3 Unique versatile venues Esch Hurvis Studio/Esch Hurvis Room conference setting Esch Hurvis Studio, Esch Hurvis Room and Mead Witter reception with chair upgrade (upgrade involves a fee and is dependent upon availability) Esch Hurvis Studio/Esch Hurvis Room lecture venue The Esch Hurvis Studio is an ideal venue for meetings, receptions and banquets, lectures, performances, recitals and dance instruction. Special design features include built-in performance sound and lighting, a sprung dance floor and a modern open and unfinished ceiling. A portable stage is available upon request. Two walls of floor-to-ceiling windows provide an airy and welcoming atmosphere. The Esch Hurvis Room, adjacent to the Esch Hurvis Studio, also includes floor-to-ceiling windows with an abundance of natural light. The Esch Hurvis Studio and Esch Hurvis Room can be utilized individually or combined to accommodate nearly 300 guests or more if the Mead Witter Room is opened. The Mead Witter Room provides an ideal space for breakout sessions and small cocktail receptions. A coffered ceiling, custom inlaid carpet, Fond du Lac stone fireplace and quarter sawn cherry walls make this is a comfortable place to relax and view the river and campus garden. The room has full built-in audiovisual capabilities and a Yamaha C6 piano. This room is typically used in conjunction with the Esch Hurvis Room. $400 Full Day* $250 Half Day* Considered the recreation room of the Warch Campus Center, this room includes a fireplace flanked by large panoramic windows, carpeted floors, soft furniture arrangements, a pool table, a ping pong table and a 42-inch flat screen television. Room dividers can be removed to create larger spaces for events and gatherings. The room can easily be arranged to serve as a reception, meeting or banquet area. Equipment: A/V inputs. This room does not have built-in A/V equipment. A portable screen and projector can be furnished upon request. Available on the second and third levels Gallery space is also available on the second floor. Informal Social Gatherings 250 $300 beverage minimum The Viking Room, the University s bar located in the lower level of Memorial Hall, can be used to compliment events held at the Warch Campus Center subject to availability.
