1 Venue Guide for the USF Tampa Campus The purpose of the Venue Guide is to provide information about campus space to those looking to host events on the USF Tampa campus. The list should be used as a resource to put those in need in contact with the appropriate people and give a general overview of various spaces and their capabilities. Additional information should be sought from the venue contact listed. The list is as comprehensive as possible, but will be updated on an as needed basis. Venues are listed in alphabetical order. Athletics Training Facility (ATH): The Big East Conference Room is located in the beautiful new Athletics Training Facility, which is located just north of the Sun Dome. This room can be used for a wide variety of events including social functions (parties, luncheons, receptions and dinners), as well as various meeting style set ups. The room is approximately 1500 square feet and includes carpeted floors, a beautiful outdoor patio, kitchenette (food prep and a sink), screen, and state of the art A/V and stereo equipment. Tables and chairs in a limited size and quantity are available at the facility. Contact Tom Buscemi for rental fee structure as well as reservation form. Contact: Tom Buscemi tbuscemi@admin.usf.edu Chinsegut Hill USF s Conference and Retreat Center Wayne Sistrunk, Special Events Coordinator (352) This conference and retreat center in located in Brooksville, Florida and is available for professional conferences, corporate retreats, weddings and other functions and events. Areas to host events at Chinsegut Hill: The Manor House for large events or small groups The Classroom Building for meetings, accommodates up to 75 In addition to these indoor meeting spaces, the grounds offer plenty of outdoor meeting space for groups of almost any size.

2 Contemporary Art Museum (CAM): The USF Contemporary Art Museum is available for specific types of events that fall within guidelines set by the museum staff. Gibbons Alumni Center (ALC): There are numerous room rental options at the Alumni Center. The names of the rooms are listed below. Please visit the web link provided for pictures of the spaces as well as rental and contact information. Traditions Hall (3 sections with moveable air walls) The Courtyard Simmons Board Room Ambassador Room Parent s Association Club Room/Atrium Alumni Association Board Room Kosove Library Phyllis P. Marshall Center (CTR) Your Student Union at USF: The Marshall Center is a large facility that can accommodate numerous types of events with varying set ups. There is a central Reservations office for the Marshall Center that handles all event requests. The purpose of the Phyllis P. Marshall Center Reservations Office is to coordinate the activities and events of its clientele. The services offered by the Office include, but are not limited to, venue reservation, providing sound and lighting requirements, and table and seating set up.

3 TECO Room at the Anchin Center/USF College of Education: The TECO Conference Hall is available for use or rental and is designed for ultimate meeting efficiency. It can be divided into 2 smaller, equal sized rooms with separate entries. Maximum occupants: 200 theater style 120 classroom style Conveniences: movable trapezoid tables, stackable chairs (steel framed, cushioned, with stylish wood backs), large mounted screen, remote projection capabilities, overhead, microphone, and small kitchen area For scheduling information, please contact the SCATT office at (813) USF Botanical Gardens: Kim Hutton, Special Events Coordinator (813) khutton@cas.usf.edu Areas to host events at the Botanical Gardens: The Creighton Pavilion for larger events and is located just west of the shade garden and can accommodate 100 or more guests. The Secret Garden for a more intimate group. This area is located in the middle of the shade garden. The Conservatory for small groups. This beautiful area houses the orchid collection in bloom. Weddings for 30 guests or receptions can be held in this tranquil space. For larger groups, canopies can be set up inside the Conservatory. Lake Behnke for large or small groups. This site allows the bride to come across the wooden bridge for a magical entrance. Under the Trees for small to large groups. This shady area, located southeast of the parking lot, can accommodate groups of all sizes.

Have your next meeting at our modern Channelside complex. Also included in our room rental price, you ll get a dedicated, personal conference room coordinator and most audio visual needs including an instructor s computer, free high speed internet access, LCD projector, VCR, and DVD players. You also have the flexibility to choose from a wide variety of catering from any number of our local restaurants. Guided tours of Graphic studio provide visitors with the opportunity to better understand how a print production facility functions. Tours are available upon request by calling (813) at least two weeks in advance of the desired tour date.

5 USF Health College of Nursing: All scheduled USF Health or University events held at USF Health require an accountable USF Health faculty/staff sponsor. Rooms will be reserved on a space available basis up to two years in advance for USF Health events. To reserve a space at USF Health please fill out the following form. All room reservations must be filled out online. Facilities that you can rent for your event are as follows: USF Health Rotunda (MDN) Allow 48 hours for approval after submission of online room reservation request form. Courtyards/Breezeways USF Health Space Committee approval is required for use of the Courtyards and Breezeways. Send an e mail request to John Liston, liston@hsc.uf.edu. To schedule non university events, please contact the University Space Office ( ) or the Marshall Center ( ). USF Research Park The Galleria A Magnificent Facility with Floor to Ceiling Windows of Fifteen Feet in Height, monorail track lighting system, and dual outdoor patios at the USF Research Park. Directly across the Street from the Embassy Suites at USF, catering is done exclusively by the Embassy Suites with the best of quality and highest in standards. Light hors d Oeuvres to elegant buffet meals and liquor service available. Minimal rental fee and catering charges apply. Additional space available as meeting rooms from 12 to 40 people.
