1 ARTES DE LA ROSA OFFICIAL RENTAL GUIDE Artes de la Rosa is Fort Worth s non-profit Latino arts organization, dedicated to preserving, promoting and interpreting the art, culture, lives and history of the Latino community. Housed in the historic Rose Marine Theater with the adjacent Art Gallery, we host a wide range of events for public and private use. From music concerts, dance and theatrical productions, parties and receptions - the Rose Marine Theater and Gallery can do it all!

2 Then And now! The Rose Marine Theater, home of Artes de la Rosa, opened as a movie house in the 1920s. It has operated under three names and has a legacy of presenting Spanish language films to generations of the Northside's ever increasing Hispanic population. The theater is listed on the National Register of Historic places. Today, the Rose Marine Theater has a seating capacity of 250 seats and provides an intimate setting with excellent acoustics for any type of event. Adjacent to the theater is a gorgeous art gallery which provides ample space for meetings, events, and parties. Page 2

3 THEATER The Annex Gallery, located on the south end of the theater, is a more intimate space. An entire wall of windows faces North Main St. allowing natural light to fill the space. It can be used as a pre-show waiting room or small reception area, but it is most frequently used to sell concessions and souvenirs. This space is included with any rental of the Theater at no extra cost. The Rose Marine Theater is ideal for a variety of productions, performances and events such as weddings, talent shows, music and voice recitals, dance concerts, theatrical productions, corporate meetings and many more! The theater is equipped with dressing room and green room space, a full box office, lobby space as well as a loading dock with direct access to the stage. Hourly: $150/hr. $80/hr. - Annex Gallery only - Set up hours charged at same rate. - 1 hour is provided free of charge at the end of every rental as load out time. PRICING Daily: $1350 $750 - Annex Gallery only - Daily rates include a 10hr. block of time. Set up hours are included in the 10hr. block. Must be consecutive hours. Page 3

4 ART GALLERY Constructed in 2005, the Art Gallery space at Rose Marine Theater is wide open with a very modern feel. The space can be adapted for a wide variety of events. It s a wonderful place for parties, receptions, meetings and book signings. Have your group event in the Gallery space surrounded by beautiful local art provided by Artes de la Rosa. DJ s and caterers are welcome! Hourly: PRICING $100/hr. $225/hr. - Gallery & Theater combo - Set up hours charged at same rate. - 1 hour is provided free of charge at the end of every rental as load out time. Daily: $900 $ Gallery & Theater combo - Daily rates include a 10hr. block of time. Set up hours are included in the 10hr. block. Must be consecutive hours. Page 4

6 ADDITIONAL RENTAL INFORMATION THEATER RENTALS: Capacity seats Light and Sound Technical Services (See Additional Rental Items/Services, page 5, for pricing) are available from Artes de la Rosa s resident Light and Sound Technician. Only the resident Light and Sound technician from Artes de la Rosa may rearrange lighting equipment onstage for the event. Renter does not have access to lighting equipment. Renter is allowed to contract a light and sound operator to operate lights and sound at the control booth of the theater. - If you should choose to purchase the services of ADLR s resident Light and Sound Technician, the technician will set up all audio and lighting equipment beforehand to your preferences, as well as operate lights and sound at the control booth during your event. Additional costs may apply depending on your lighting and audio needs. - Light and sound consultation meetings with the Light and Sound Technician are an excellent way to design your lighting scheme, audio preferences and all other technical aspects of your event. Box Office - Renter must provide Box Office staff. It is the policy of Artes de la Rosa to not handle Box Office monies. Your box office staff may have access to a Credit Card Terminal to process ticket sales for a fee of $30 per day. Amenities: Access to theater light and sound system, access to Box Office, access to Annex Gallery, Men s and Women s dressing rooms (backstage), 2 single-occupancy restrooms (backstage) ART GALLERY RENTALS: Capacity - Approx. 200 for stand-up style event (mixer, reception, etc.) & approx. 140 for seated event (banquet) ANNEX GALLERY RENTALS: Capacity - Approx. 50 for stand-up style event (mixer, reception, etc.) & approx. 20 for seated event (meeting, banquet) ALL RENTALS: Alcohol Service Policy: If selling alcohol, renter must obtain alcohol permits as required by the City of Fort Worth and/or the State of Texas and provide proof to Artes de la Rosa. Amenities: 8 folding tables (no linens), 30 chairs, bar Marketing/Promotion - Renter is responsible for press releases and all marketing and promotion for rental events. (See page 5 for additional options) Hours available for rentals - All rentals must take place between the hours of 8am and 12am. Minimum rental - There is a 4 hour minimum requirement for all rentals. Load-out time - ADLR will provide 1 hour free of charge at the end of all rentals as load-out time. For example, if your rental ends at 11pm then your departure time is 12am midnight. Rental Coordinator - The rental coordinator will be on hand at every rental and is responsible for opening and closing the facility. Booking your rental: A deposit of 30% of your total rental cost and a signed rental agreement are due at the time of booking your event.
