8 The Lemoore Parks & Recreation Department offers youth a safe, well-chaperoned night out with Club 34 (3rd and 4th grade), Club Live (5th and 6th grade), and Club 78 (7th and 8th grade) dances. Professional DJ, light shows, dance contests and a game room make these dances one of the most popular events offered by our department. All dances are lock-in children are not permitted to leave the dance until the dance is over. No gang affiliated clothing. School ID is required for all dances. A concession stand is available with items ranging in cost from 50 to $1.50. 11 Run / Walk Join us for the annual Shamrock Shuffle 5k run/3k walk. Registration is only $25 for the run and $20 for the walk. Make sure to register before the deadline and you will receive a free shirt. Participants are encouraged to dress up in their best Saint Paddy s costume. 13 Golf Tournaments Chip in for a Cause The Lemoore Senior Center will be hosting their fourth annual Chip in for a Cause golf tournament on Friday, October 7 at the Lemoore Municipal Golf Course. All proceeds go to the senior center and helps pay for the lunch program and the utilities for the year. This is a 4 man scramble format with a 12 noon shotgun start. If you don t golf, you can help support the Senior Center by being a tee sponsor or a corporate sponsor. Let s keep this Center open! $60 per player. The Lemoore Travel team is an after school and weekend program for kids who are interested in playing year around golf. Signups begin in February and the program will start in March. The team will travel to other courses, practice or play on course in the spring and fall. The team travels to other courses in the summer and will participate in the seven team junior championship. Juniors participating in the travel team must be prepared to play on course. The junior linkster program is a great way to improve and be ready for the team. Lemoore Recreation Guide 51

Send your letters to the Parks and Recreation Department at 721 West Cinnamon Drive, Lemoore, CA 93245, or stop by to drop the letter off. In your envelope, include your letter to Santa and an selfaddressed stamped envelope for Santa to send the letter back. Santa has a lot of letters to go through and this will save him valuable time.
