Promote sustainable development of large marine and coastal ecosystems of the East Asia and Pacific Region and improve livelihoods of local populations by reducing pollution and promoting sustainable marine fisheries, ICM and ecosystem based management. 2. Enhance the delivery of on-the-ground impacts and supporting capacity-building through targeted knowledge management activities and through portfolio learning and targeted research.

7 APPLICATION OF KM TO SCALE UP PARTNERSHIP INVESTMENTS IN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THE LMEs OF EAST ASIA AND THEIR COASTS Objective: To enhance the capacity and performance of investments in sustainable development of LMEs and coasts in the East Asian Seas Region through knowledge management and experience sharing, portfolio learning and networking
