11 No negative slope In order to get the correct light output most light fittings are designed with a negative slope in front of the prism. The negative slope collects dust and particles, which affects the light output, and the light fitting does not comply with the recommendations of the industry regulations. Our solution has no negative slope and offers fully compliant light output, both right after production and equally after two years of operation. One body Inset light fittings from Thorn AFL are produced as one body in order to minimise the number of spare parts and to facilitate the maintenance. In addition, our light fittings have common parts within each product family.
