22 Kontula Elderly Care Center Joint project: City of Helsinki, Well-being Cluster and Nanotechnology Cluster The City of Helsinki has built a new Elderly Centre in Kontula where new innovations are applied. Well-Being Centre of Expertise in Culminatum Innovation has participated p the project as purchase coordinator by e.g. searching the innovations for the Kontula Elderly Centre. Nano-oske was invited to identify and pull in nanotechnology applicable to well-being sector and especially to elderly care. 23 Disabled person s living and well-being Joint project: Living Cluster and Nanotechnology Cluster The Living Cluster has initited a Koti Kaikille - Home for everybody project The aim is to maximize possibilities of the disabled persons to live in home like environment, not in large institutions Innovative solutions for the living of the disabled persons? Nano-oskeoske was invited to identify and pull in applicable nanotechnology. The solutions may include wear-resistant, antibacterial and easy to clean surfaces and textiles.
