1 Drin Chnging Kit 1 Instructions for chnging the drining type on wshers SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS The sfety wrnings listed in the Instlltion mnul must e followed. BEFORE PROCEEDING TO CHANGE DRAIN SYSTEM, CONSIDER ALL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE INSTALLATION. Py specil ttention to the following sections: 1.4. Technicl Specifictions 2.6. Drin connection. The opertions descried in these instructions re restricted to the Authorised Service Technicins. WARNING! Before ttempting ny service or inspection of the wshing mchine: COMPLETELY disconnect the mchine from the originl power source nd check for ccidentl reconnection. In LOGI CONTROL units, moving the ON switch to the OFF position is not sufficient. Wit t lest five minutes fter disconnecting the mchine efore eginning this opertion. Within the electricl circuit of the wsher exists high powered chrges which cn produce importnt electricl shocks even fter the mchine hs een disconnected. Close nd mechniclly interlock the wter supply vlves nd check tht mchine hs COMPLETELY drined, prts hve cooled down nd tht no pieces re in movement through inerti. Filure to comply with this wrning my result in serious injury. 1. Emptying out the residul wter th Before ttempting ny service or inspection of the wshing mchine: Situte the exterior drinpipe horizontlly over the floor (mchine with pump drin) nd prepre continer elow to ctch the wter coming out of the drinpipe. Slightly incline the mchine forwrds nd ckwrd to help empty the residul wter remining in the ottom of the outer drum nd in the drin pipes. 2. 4 Chnging from vlve drin to pump drin 4 5. Chnging from vlve drin to pump drin Open the lower front cover, removing the three screws () fstening the se nd seprting it from the mchine. Open the centrl rer cover. Disssemle the fstening screws, moving the cover towrds the top nd seprting it from the mchine.

5 Chnging from vlve drin to pump drin 5 Remove the clmp () from the drin outlet pipe nd seprte the rer end of the pipe () from the drin sleeve. Remove screw. Remove the sleeve from lower cover.

6 Chnging from vlve drin to pump drin 6 Disconnect electricl supply wiring ()nd ground wire (). Loosen clmps (, ) nd remove the outer drum ellows outlet (c).disssemle the screws from the support vlve (d) nd remove it. Remove the support (e) from the vlve of the se of the mchine. c e d

7 Chnging from vlve drin to pump drin 7, c d e f Mount the following set: ) Drin pump ) Drin plug c) Clmp d) Pump support e) Wire stop; 2 units. f) Wsher; 4 units. g) Cle connection to ground f g Fsten the pump ssemly to the se of the mchine. Fsten the grounding conductors () with the screw. (In some mchines, there is only one ground wire)

8 Chnging from vlve drin to pump drin 8 Using the corresponding clmps ssemle nd fsten the following components: ) Drin ellows ) Drin outlet pipe Connect the cles () of the electricl supply to the pump (there is no defined position for the connection of the cles)

9 Chnging from vlve drin to pump drin 9 Assemle the drin sleeve () to the fstening supplement () to the rer cover. Detil of the fstening of the drin hose over the supplement.

10 Chnging from vlve drin to pump drin 10 c, d Position the supplement set + sleeve () over the lower rer cover nd fsten it using screw. Drill two 4mm. dimeter holes (c) using the supplement plte s pttern. Fsten the supplement plte to the lower rer cover using two TORX screws (d). c, d Insert the pipe () coming from the drin pump into the end of the hose nd fsten it with the rcket ()

11 Chnging from vlve drin to pump drin 11 Mount the rer cover. Mount the fstening clip () of the drin pipe. Mount the exterior drin pipe () nd fsten it with the clip of the rer cover. Fsten the pipe to the drin receptor. (Consult instlltion instructions)

12 Chnging from pump drin to vlve drin Chnging from pump drin to vlve drin Open the lower front cover, removing the three screws () fstening the se nd seprting it from the mchine. Open the centrl rer cover. Disssemle the fstening screws, moving the cover towrds the top nd seprting it from the mchine.

13 Chnging from pump drin to vlve drin 13 Remove the exterior drin pipe. Remove the pipe () coming from the drin pump from the inside end () of the sleeve.

14 Chnging from pump drin to vlve drin 14 Disconnect electricl supply wiring () nd ground wire () to the pump Remove the drin ellows () from the outer drum outlet nd remove the support () of the pump from the se of the mchine. Remove the drin pump set. During this opertion, wter cn esily drop from the ody of the pump nd the conduit pipes. CAREFULLY DRY THE BASE OF THE MACHINE.

15 Chnging from pump drin to vlve drin 15 Mount the support of the drin to the se of the wsher. Fsten it with the screws ().The rrows indicte the front side of the se of the mchine, c Position the protector plte () of the drin. Fsten it with the plug () nd the clmp (c). Mount the drin vlve over the support. Fsten it with the screws nd the wshers (d, e) d, e

16 Chnging from pump drin to vlve drin 16 d c Mount the outlet ellows (). Fsten it with the clmps (, c). Fsten the ground cles with the screw (d). (In some mchines, there is only one ground wire). Connect electricl supply wiring () nd ground wire ().

17 Chnging from pump drin to vlve drin 17 Detch the pre-drilled dpttion plte from the drin sleeve. Mount the drin sleeve to the lower rer cover. Py ttention to the position of the front plug-in. ()

18 Chnging from pump drin to vlve drin 18 Mount the exit pipe of the vlve () nd fsten it with the clmps (). Verify tht the entire se of the wsher is dry, with no wter remining. Mount the drin outlet elow nd fsten it with the clmp. Mount the rer cover nd the lower front cover nd fsten them with the corresponding screws.

19 Drin Chnging kit Modifying the configurtion S3 Open the front cover of the pnel on the wsher to ccess the microprocessor. Modify the position of the S3 switch ccording to the figure. Close the front cover nd connect the electricl power. On the disply should pper the report CONF. Access the definition stge of the drin type nd dpt it ccording to the mchine sitution: Pu: mchines with pump drin. Uu: mchines with grvity drin. Disconnect the electricl power nd reset thes3 switch to its originl position. 8. Verifiction After the kit is instlled, the new drin system configured, nd ALL the covers of the wsher re mounted nd fixed, verify the opertion nd lek proofness of the new drin system. Steps to follow: Check tht the drin outlet pipe is locted nd fixed correctly. Open the mnul vlve from the wter source. Connect the electricl power of the wsher. Lod the wsher with linen. Select wsh progrm. It is preferle to use progrm with high temperture. Run the selected progrm. During the execution of the wsh cycle, check tht no lerts pper which indicte mlfunction of the drin system (consult the Opertion Mnul of the wsher). Once finished, disconnect the electricl power nd close the mnul vlves for wter inlet. Remove the lower front cover nd check tht the se of the mchine is dry nd tht no wter leks occur, prticulrly in the pipe unions. If no type of nomly hs occurred, ssemle the front cover. Open the mnul supply vlves nd connect the power supply. Rememer tht: There s the possiility to ccelerte the progrm on LOGI Control mchines (refer to Instructions mnul, section 1.5). There s the possiility of using the DEMO progrm on COIN Control mchines (refer to Advnced Instructions mnul, section 2.4).
