3 GREETINGS Dear players, dear parents. The game of golf is demanding, difficult and time consuming process. Young players need to attend school, study and invest a lot of free time for training and playing on tournaments. They deserve our respect and admiration. Their life is quite similar to adults working two jobs at the time. That effort deserves to be supported and that s the idea of IMP PUMPS supporting the tournament we support effort of these young players trying to give them opportunity to play in the best international participation in our region. But, please children, do not forget your parents who are crucial factors in this time consuming sport. They are your drivers, caddies, coaches, investors, supporters, All of that at the same time. 4 the course - Golf Arboretum Ljubljana Only about 20 km from capital city of Slovenia, situated in a picturesque and hilly landscape, lies Arboretum Golf Course Ljubljana. Course is only 20 minutes from City of Ljubljana and is easily accessible from different parts of the country including tourist centres like Bled, Bohinj, Kranjska gora. Wishes of many white ball game lovers from the Slovenian capital and nearby came true in 1998 when in the close proximity of Volčji Potok park first 9 holes of Arboretum golf course saw light for the first time. 6 PLAYERS INFORMATION VENUE International Slovenian Junior Championship Counting event for World and European Amateur Ranking HOW TO GET THERE GPS LOCATION: , CAR ACCESS BY HIGHWAY The exit on Ljubljana Maribor highway is marked from both directions (exit nr. 24, Domžale). Follow the road towards Radomlje. On the roundabout in Radomlje take the exit towards Arboretum. The distance from the highway s exit is approximately 6,5 km. CAR ACCESS THROUGH MENGEŠ On the route Ljubljana Kamnik drive through Trzin then avoid Mengeš on the newly built bypass road around the town. Follow the signs for Kamnik. In Kamnik take the second exit on the roundabout towards Arboretum. After 400 metres take a sharp right turn on the road to Volčji Potok. After 650 metres turn left through t. After 500 metres of driving through the village and then through a small forrest, you arrive at Golf Arboretum. 7 PLAYERS INFORMATION TOURNAMENT PROGRAM Friday Arrival, registration and accommodation 8:00 15:00 Free training starting times 19:00 Opening ceremony with dinner complimentaty for all contestants, parents and guests can pay directly at the restaurant. Saturday 8:00 First round 18 holes Sunday 8:00 Second round 18 holes Monday 8:00 Third round 18 holes 18:00 Closing ceremony, all contestants are welcome. BAG STORAGE Bag storrage is availabale for all players. The players can leave the clubs at the bag storage at their own risk. DRESS CODE A proper dress code is expected at all times both on the course and in the Club House. Jeans are strictly prohibited. Shoes with soft spikes must be worn. ENTRY FEE 20 entry fee payed at registration includes: practice round, 3 tournament golf rounds and a lunch on each tournament day. PRACTICE DAY Friday, June 24st, 2016 is the offcial practice day. RULES AND CONDITIONS - the Rules of Golf, as approved by the R&A Rules Limited ( edition), - the 2016 Slovenian Golf Association hard Card, - EGA handicap system ( ), - the Conditions and Local Rules approved by Tournament Committee and the conditions are: A) A competitor is prohibited from having caddie during the stipulated round. B) Players are obliged to walk during stipulated round. C) Tournament Committee reserves the right to: - Disqualify any competitor making a false statement on his entry form; intention to withdraw from the competition to the Championship committee before the Championship, or withdraw at any stage of the championship. Exemptions may be made and other special circumstances at the discretion of the Championship Committee. D) Please note that in this Championship the following Specimen Conditions of - List of Conforming Driver heads; - List of Conforming Golf Balls; - Transportation (riding on any form of transportation is prohibited); - Distance-Measuring Devices (use of DMDs is allowed). E) Starting Players should report to the Starter on the 1st tee no later than 10 minutes prior to their start time F) hole Locations/Pin Positions will be distributed by the Starter on the 1st tee each day. TOURNAMENT DRAW - 1st Round draw will be displayed and distributed at hours on Friday 24th of June, on Slovenian Golf Association web pages under Championships, in front of the Club - 2nd and 3rd Round draws, based on performance, will be displayed at hours on Saturday and Sunday on same places as for the 1st round. Round draw will be posted also on the information board, located at the clubunder Championships. 4. SCORE RECORDING uploading to the Live Leaderboard; - Mobile Scoreboards will accompany the last 4 groups on Monday only;

WITHDRAWALS to: championships@golfzveza-slovenije.si (Slovenian Golf Association) no later than - the day before the beginning of the competition until 11:30 a.m. 12. REGISTRATION All Players must register at the reception of Golf Arboretum Ljubljana on the day before the championship until p.m. A competitor who does not register up to this date and time is liable to be withdrawn from the championship. If a player is unable to register in person, a registration by another person, via fax or will be accepted.

13 PARTNERS Golf club Arboretum has its home on one of the most beautiful and best golf courses in the region. Since its creation in 1994, the club grew in members and now we are proud to be the biggest and the most active golf club in Slovenia, therefore we can say that we are also the most popular one. The initiators: Marko božič, Janez Končan, Janez Narat, Aleš Ocepek, Miro Ukmar and Miha Urbanija with the help of Slovenian Golf Association in particular president Mirko Wolf, managed to formally establish the golf club in With the creation of first 9 holes in 1998, we started our work with hosting golf tournaments and attract new members. Credits for all sorts of things go to many people who were working hard for our club in these two decades. In the Marjan Jurenc period, who took over the management of the club as the third president, the Golf club Arboretum became widely recognizable. Thanks to Andrej Kozelj we inherited a healthy club in a great shape after his two mandates as a president. Pubi Štivan has laid the foundation for the biggest and most active club in Slovenia, also on the competition field. Golf club Arboretum annually organizes over sixty events (tournaments, trips, sports days...). Since 2007 organization Racman golf is working and developing junior golf in Slovenia. With our work in golf school we inspire a lot of juniors for golf. Today some of them are playing golf on very good level. We want that juniors enjoy and socialize in golf and the most important thing is that they acquire working habits and ethic which they will need through their lifes. In addition to the school of golf we started to organize tournaments for juniors. We recognize that juniors like to compete against each other on tournaments, but they need good junior environment. From 2009 we organize tournament called Racman cup. Our vision was that this tournament will become one of the best junior tournaments in our region. Mr. Damir Popović, company director of IMP-PUMPS recognized this idea. Thanks to him IMP PUMPS became the General sponsor of this tournament since With all other parties involved we are creating a bigger picture and getting closer to our end goal. I hope all this energy which we create together with Slovenian Federation and Golf club Arboretum will help to develop competitive golf for juniors in Slovenia and in this part of Europe. I wish that competitors and other guests will enjoy on our tournament.
