7 . INFO AIRLINES / AIRPORTS The Intercontinental Airports of Zurich, Geneva and Basel can be reached from various convenient gateways with scheduled services to Switzerland. Zurich and Geneva airports are fully integrated into the Swiss railroad network with an integrated railway station. Trains to the city run every 10 to 20 minutes. The ride takes approx. 10 minutes. Hourly intercity and direct trains leave right from the airport station and will connect you to many cities and towns. In Basel, a bus service links the airport with the downtown area. The bus stops right outside the main railway station. The buses leave every 30 minutes and the ride takes 15 to 20 minutes. Zürich Distance between Murten/Morat and 148 km A Crossair taxi service connects the airport with the downtown railway station in Bern. The schedule is adjusted to the airline departures and arrivals. The ride takes approx. 20 minutes. 9 BUSINESS/BANKING HOURS Business hours are weekdays 8 a.m. to 12 noon and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., closed on weekends. Banks are usually open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Once a week they extend their hours. Banks are closed Saturdays, Sundays and on public holidays. Post offices in large cities are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon and from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Saturday 7:30 to 11 a.m. Please check locally. 10 HOTEL You should travel to Murten/Morat where hotel accommodation has been made. As soon as you arrive at the hotel you will receive an envelope containing all information regarding the course, daily transport schedule from hotel to DiaMed AG (at Cressier), welcome dinner, etc. WELCOME DINNER COURSE TRANSPORT The Welcome Dinner will be held at the Murtenhof Restaurant, in Murten/Morat, on Monday evening, 20 th September, at 7:30 p.m. The course will begin on Tuesday morning, 21 st September, at 9:00 a.m. Our driver will pick you up at the hotel, Tuesday morning and every morning at the hotel (8:30 a.m. approx.), and bring you to DiaMed AG where the course will be held. Please be ready each morning to avoid delays to the course and inconvenience to other participants. You will be taken back to the hotel when the course is finished (every afternoon 5 p.m.) DEPARTURE DAY You should take your luggage with you to DiaMed on Friday morning. Our driver will pick you up at the company, after the course and lunch time, and will take you to the nearest train station. Transport back to the hotels will be organised after the lunch if you are departing from Switzerland during the weekend.

11 DiaMed AG will pay charges for: hotel room only for the duration of the course (Monday to Friday inclusive) lunches: from Tuesday to Friday coffee breaks: from Tuesday to Friday welcome dinner: Monday evening end of course dinner: Thursday evening course materials daily transport - hotel to DiaMed and return DiaMed will not pay charges for: - evening meals (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and/or supplementary days) - telephone charges - minibar - laundry - and all other personal charges PLEASE NOTE: 1. It is not possible for us to arrange accommodation for longer stays, nor to find and book hotels for such additional days. If hotels are required, for example near to the airport, then please organise this independently: 2. Please inform in advance if your arrival/departure details change. Rooms reserved but not used must be paid for. 3. We do not have time to undertake return flight confirmation. A list of useful numbers will be supplied, however, so that participants requiring tickets to be confirmed may do so themselves. 4.
