RECRUITMET IITIATIVES 2 3 Date 7/9/25 8/5/25 9/8/25 Type of Recruitment Initiative (Menu Selection) sponsored by community groups Participation in Job Fairs Participation in Job Fairs Brief Description Of Activity The American Society for Quality group, a community group focusing on quality tools, principles, and practices in their workplaces and in their communities, toured the station and watched the 5: p.m. newscast. Director of ews, Len Stevens, was the tour guide. Sharon Pickeral, Corporate Employment Manager, Stan Heist, Director-ews Development, and Kevin Olivas, ews Talent Manager, represented ALL news stations for Sinclair at the career expo at the ational Association of Black Journalists convention in Minneapolis, M; they met with 2+ potential candidates and reviewed resumes and tapes and candidates were given a list of all locations and open positions. They talked with candidates about openings and spoke with news directors when they returned about the candidates that were seen. RECRUITMET IITIATIVES 4 Date 9/29/25 Type of Recruitment Initiative (Menu Selection) Participation in Job Fairs Brief Description Of Activity Assistant Business Manager Jenny Marshall, who administers WSET-TV's internship program, and Executive Producer Ashton Smith, who is the coordinator of the internship program for the ews department, participated in the Liberty University 25 Communications Fall Career Fair hosted by Liberty University. The event was held at the LaHaye Event Space on campus from :-4: p.m. The fair was an opportunity for Communications students to discuss internship opportunities with participating businesses. o. of Stations Participants 2 Participant Title Assistant Business Manager Executive Producer 5 9/3/25 WSET-TV had a table at the fair and distributed internship applications to eligible students. Students interested in employment applications were advised of the Sinclair Broadcast Group application procedure. Weather Anchor Will Stafford was the requested speaker at Concord Elementary School. He spoke to approximately 8 students in the 2nd Grade class about meteorology, severe weather and safety as part of their Virginia SOL for Science study program. RECRUITMET IITIATIVES Date /2/25 /29/25 /23/25 2/8/25 Type of Recruitment Initiative (Menu Selection) Provision of training to management Brief Description Of Activity Sinclair Broadcast Group, IC conducted Leadership Human Resources Training for 2 days, October 2st and 22nd. HR Contacts from all over the country were flown into Corporate to learn about how to be the best HR contact for the station; the Assistant Business Manager for Roanoke/Lynchburg was in attendance for both days. We learned about FCC/EEO, Hiring, ADA, FLSA, EEOC and DOL Compliance, FMLA, supporting the Company s open door policy, performing our job well, sharing accountability and partnering with other station management to accomplish our goals. We all were able to share ideas during discussions and were able to take back ideas on things to implement at our station. Weather Anchor Will Stafford was the requested speaker at Bass Elementary School. He spoke to approximately 5 students, aged 7-years-old, about meteorology, severe weather and safety. His presentation included a visual component using a projector and computer and he answered students' questions after the presentation. He spoke to the 2nd Grade class about meteorology, severe weather and safety as part of their 3-week weather study program. He also answered students' questions after the presentation. The Liberty University Digital Media and Communication Arts class toured the station and watched the Midday newscast. The students met members of the news department and were allowed a question and answer period. RECRUITMET IITIATIVES 2 Date //26 //26 //26 Type of Recruitment Initiative (Menu Selection) Provision of training to management Brief Description Of Activity ewly hired Managers and Supervisors take web-based training courses titled "Workplace Ethics for Supervisors" and "Sexual Harassment: What Supervisors eed to Know" and all newly hired employees complete "Sexual Harassment: What Employees eed to Know" and "Business Ethics: What Employees eed to Know" within 9 days of the start of their employment. In addition, ALL Employees are required to complete bi-annual online training which reviews these same policies and procedures; these courses are designed to increase and renew awareness as well as provide for manager and supervisor development, and FCC Compliance. Establishment of an WSET-TV/VAB Internship: Under the intern program designed Virginia Association of Broadcasters to assist members of the program, WSET-TV agreed to train community students who had shown great interest in broadcasting and had been recommended by their school. The student received a grant that enabled them to earn money while learning and the internship was considered a summer job, 4 hours per week, with all of the normal conditions of employment. RECRUITMET IITIATIVES 6 Date 3/22/26 Type of Recruitment Initiative (Menu Selection) Participation in Job Fairs Brief Description Of Activity Assistant Business Manager Jenny Marshall, who administers WSET-TV's internship program, and Executive Producer Ashton Smith, who is the coordinator of the internship program for the ews department, participated in the Liberty University Spring 26 Launch Job Fair hosted by Liberty University. The event was held at the Williams Stadium Tower on campus from :-4: p.m. The fair was an opportunity for all majors to discuss internship opportunities with participating businesses. o. of Stations Participants 2 Participant Title Assistant Business Manager Executive Producer 7 8 3/24/26 4/6/26 WSET-TV had a table at the fair and distributed internship applications to eligible students. Students interested in employment applications were advised of the Sinclair Broadcast Group application procedure. Reporter Tola Adamson was a requested speaker at orth Elementary School about her career in broadcasting. She spoke to classes from the 3rd to 5th Grades. Students learned about a reporter's basic job requirements and were permitted a question and answer period after her presentation. Multi-media Journalist Valerie Bragg was a requested speaker at South Boston Elementary School about her career in broadcasting. Students, in the age group of 3- to 5-year-olds, learned about a journalist's basic job requirements. Approximately 4 students listened to her presentation and were permitted a question and answer period afterwards. Reporter Multi-media Journalist

Bass Elementary School has approximately 3 students this year. Each class rotated through the presenters, allowing for a 5-minute presentation. Students learned about an Anchor and Reporter's basic job requirements and were permitted to ask a quick question or two after the presentation. Weather Anchor Will Stafford was a requested speaker at Bass Elementary School and spoke to students about broadcasting careers, weather prediction, and storm safety. Students were permitted a question and answer period after the presentation. Allison Kiniry, Regional Human Resources Manager, Eunice Parish, Human Resources, Sheila Holland, Business Manager, and Manny Fantis, Director of Digital Content & Solutions, represented ALL stations for Sinclair at the ational Association of Broadcasters Career Fair, hosted by the AB Education Foundation, in Las Vegas, V on April 2, 26. They met with 2+ potential candidates and reviewed resumes and tapes. All locations and open positions were discussed with interested candidates. They talked with candidates about openings and spoke with hiring managers when they returned about the candidates that were seen. Weekend Sports Anchor Dave Walls and Chief Video-Journalist Jemon Haskins attended the Heritage Elementary School Career Day. They spoke to the students about their careers in broadcasting, the skills and education needed. RECRUITMET IITIATIVES Date 4/27/26 4/29/26 Type of Recruitment Initiative (Menu Selection) Brief Description Of Activity Chief Meteorologist George Flickinger was a requested speaker to the Geology class at Liberty University about the specifics of meteorology and climate. The class learned about the science of meteorology, education and skills needed for a career in broadcasting, and were permitted a question and answer period after the lecture. Morning Meteorologist Melissa LeFevre was a requested speaker at Elizabeth's Early Learning Center. She spoke to 6 students about severe weather and how to remain safe during storms. Melissa included children's graphics, appropriate for 3- to 4-year-olds, to pass out to the students.
