RECRUITMET IITIATIVES 1 Date 6/1/215 Type of Recruitment Initiative (Menu Selection) Establishment of an intern program designed to assist members of the community Brief Description Of Activity The purpose of our internship program is to establish links between universities/colleges and our company. Sinclair Broadcast Group is committed to recruiting applicants of the highest caliber for this program. Please note that this policy is not intended to set forth express or implied contractual obligations of the company to include continued employment. Further, this policy is subject to revision as the need arises. We ask your cooperation in enforcing these guidelines so that the internship experience is a valuable one for the intern and the station or company. Program Goal: The goal of our internship program is to recruit students primarily juniors and seniors, from colleges or universities and prepare them for entry-level jobs within the broadcasting industry. RECRUITMET IITIATIVES 9 Date 3/15/216 Type of Recruitment Initiative (Menu Selection) Participation in scholarship programs Brief Description Of Activity The Sinclair Broadcast Diversity Scholarship Fund was established in 216 to provide financial support to college students interested in broadcasting, journalism, and marketing. The fund plans to award up to 1 scholarships of up to $5, each per year for the next ten years to students from under-represented minority groups who need financial assistance to complete their education. The Fund complements Sinclair s existing widespread internship program as well as Sinclair s long-standing relationships with numerous colleges, including historically black colleges and universities in markets where Sinclair has stations.
