Wipro s Place IT TM tool recommends the optimal placement of a workload on physical, virtual, private or public cloud infrastructure based on the attributes of the workload. Workload based reference architectures assists rapid design & deployment of workloads, based on tested configurations using Wipro's integrated IP and experience. These architectures are built and tested in CoE and endorsed by a large ecosystem of OEM partners. For building agility into the infrastructure, the infrastructure components such as compute, network, storage and associated services such as backup, archival, DNS, application services etc. all needs to be programmable, irrespective of the provider of the solution. Every component that we put in the Datacenter needs to be exposed through an API, providing the openness necessary for orchestration and making changes faster. Migration Factory creates a unique model to deliver accelerated migration for all Datacenter transformation projects while reducing risks. The factory model introduces centralized architecture and engineering services, automated tools, standardized and tested processes. In addition to these assets, migration experts skilled in specialized workloads are leveraged for critical areas of transformation. MIGRATION FACTORY The future Datacenters will mostly be hybrid in nature. Not all workloads will move to the Public Cloud, nor will all workloads stay on-premise. Such a distributed Datacenter necessitates one single pane of glass for provisioning, migrating, managing, monitoring the infrastructure and applications deployed across different clouds, providing workload portability and abstracting the network and service locations to the enduser.
