8 About The Team Smita Mehra is the Managing Director of the Neem Tree. Smita qualified as a Dental Surgeon from the University of Birmingham in She opened her first private Neem Tree practice in 2004, a second in 2006 and her third in In 2013 she sold her Canary Wharf site to BUPA. Smita is now actively involved in setting up further Neem Tree practices across the UK. The patient journey is what drives Smita, ensuring patient care is her main focus for the Neem Tree. Arun Mehra is the Managing Director and owner of Samera Chartered Accountants, one of the leading UK Healthcare Accountancy firms. With almost twenty years of commercial experience and knowledge in Dentistry, his expertise is valued by hundreds of healthcare businesses across the UK. Arun has a first class honours degree in Engineering from The University of Bristol, is a former Vice President of Bank of America and started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers. James Hart-Dyke is Head of Events and Business Development for Samera. His career has seen him work with a variety of dentists and trade companies across various media and sales related roles, and having previously run his own PR and marketing company, is well recognised in the dental industry. With a comprehensive list of well known media campaigns for household dental names under his belt, James has an excellent eye for detail and is passionate about client service and experience.
