1 WORLD WIDE TORINO AT ESPERIENZA ITALIA March 20 November 2011 World Wide Torino involves in the celebrations for the 150 years of the Unity of Italy those foreign institutions connected to the City of Torino through relations of friendship and collaboration. The result is a programme rich in international events such as exhibitions, concerts, theatre and dance shows, seminars and a photo exhibition created together with the Province of Torino and the Piemonte Region. The Mayor of the City of Cologne, the Director of

5 the Historical Archive of the City of Cologne and the Mayor of the City of Torino will inaugurate the exhibition Chorus of the emigrants Directed by Kostas Papakostopoulos, Deutsch Griechisches Theater. Music by Herbert Mitschke, stage design by Zezo Dinekov With the support of the City of Cologne, City of Torino, Germanwings 07/05, 8.30 p.m. At Teatro Vittoria, via Gramsci 4 (till seats are available) A theatrical tale of a group of emigrants in Germany in an enjoyable show drawing a moral for everybody From 9 May to 17 May Detroit Torino Urban Jazz Project: two cities grow through a dialogue made of music and images Torino and Detroit, an industrial past leaving space to a present made of art and innovation. In the sphere of this common evolution, as well as in the light of the twinning connecting the two cities, the Detroit Torino Urban Jazz Project grows Detroit Torino Urban Jazz Project concert at Teatro Regio 09/05, 8.30 p.m. Tickets 8/15/20/25 Euros, at Teatro Regio, Piazza Castello 215 World premiere of two pièces by James Hartway and Carlo Boccadoro, in which the jazz musicians Emanuele Cisi, Chris Collins, Furio Di Castri and Sean Dobbins perform with the Orchestra Filarmonica 900 and are accompanied by the pictures by Piero Ottaviano and Geoff George Photo exhibition Torino-Detroit and jazz concert By City of Torino and DTUJP and related opening hours Opening and concert 10/05, 5.30 p.m. Piero Ottaviano and Geoff George s pictures compare the two cities.
