5 Special Events The Office also undertakes: Fund raising activities: the raising of finance through private sources and public sources; The promotion of events in partnership with, and the receiving of proposals from, national and international universities and organizations; Management of social network pages, mailing list and newsletters of the projects in the artistic fields. 6 Special Events The Cerimonial and Protocol Office is responsible for the organization and coordination of institutional events and ceremonies It takes care of all ceremonial occasions representation of the Rector, the Vice Rector and University representatives. Page 6

7 Rome Sapienza Foundation The Rome Sapienza Foundation is a non-profit organisation set up in Its main objectives are: award scholarships and funding to students coordinate the activities of: NoiSapienza Alumni Association In unam Sapientiam Association Section of International Cooperation Friends of the Foundation Page 7

8 MuSa Musica Sapienza Project Since 2007 particular attention has been given to the promotion and support of the University's musical project MuSa, an acronym of Musica Sapienza Page 8

11 MuSa Musica Sapienza Project The activity of MuSa allows students, faculty and administrative staff already in the possession of musical knowledge and skills to make music together. An increasing number of Erasmus and foreign students studying at Sapienza apply for membership in MuSa. Page 11

12 MuSa Musica Sapienza Project Participation in the project is free of charge University Educational Credits and certificates of attendance are issued to participants. Page 12

13 MuSa Musica Sapienza Project Auditions are held in october 295 applicants in 2013 Extra audition sessions are scheduled for incoming Erasmus students. Page 13

15 MuSa Musica Sapienza Project Fund raising activities Crowdfunding Goal: finance 3 upcoming concerts + 1 live CD Target: (the platform works on an all or nothing basis) Length of the campaign: 60 days Rewards: 8 rewards, each of a different value. Page 15

17 European Network of University Orchestras Since 2011 MuSa has been a part of ENUO which brings together the university symphony orchestras in Europe, facilitating communication among its members. It consists of 117 partner orchestras from 16 European countries. Page 17

19 Theatron Teatro Antico alla Sapienza Project Theatron project aims to spread and share the unique experience of classical Greek and Latin theater in its various forms as well as its modern interpretations. Page 19

20 Theatron Teatro Antico alla Sapienza Project Theatron s primary goal is to blend scientific activity and practical activity. The project consists of two laboratories, one translation and one of staging, involving students, employees, teachers of Sapienza who apply annually in response to a notice published on the Sapienza website.
