3 La Biennale brings a decisive impulse to the activities in its Educational programme and thereby confirms its attention to the younger generations, to their familiarity with the arts and with the Biennale as an institution in particular. The goals of the Educational activities are: To promote a meaningful relationship with its own public and a direct knowledge of the world of the arts; To encourage a visit to the Biennale as a place for personal growth, as an element of the family vocabulary for the new generations in the city of Venice, in the Veneto region and more in general throughout the territory; To foster a growing interest in schools for creative doing as an integral part of educational programmes for young people. La Biennale, by its very nature a place open to encounter and experimentation, wishes to offer opportunities in this perspective for schools, families, scholars, enthusiasts, professionals, companies and universities.
