3 POWTECH 2016 Last-Minute Information I. LAST-MINUTE INFORMATION 1. Advertising outside the stand The distribution of advertising material outside the exhibition stand is prohibited. Exhibits and advertising measures of any kind outside the stand limits are not permitted without the prior approval of NürnbergMesse. Approved advertising measures can be found in the Online ExhibitorShop (see Marketing, Advertising support for exhibitors). Advice and booking: Exhibition Services team on tel +49(0) Assembly and dismantling Assembly Friday, 15. Monday 18. April :00 19:00 The stand space can only be occupied if the stand rental and the rental charges for any rental stand ordered have been paid. We recommend that proof of payment be available for inspection on the stand. Stands whose assembly has not been started by 15:00 on Monday, 18. April 2016, will be decorated by the organizer if they cannot be otherwise disposed of. Any costs incurred will be charged to the exhibitor. Dismantling Thursday, 21. April :00 24:00 Access to the loading yards from 18:30! Friday 22. until Monday 25. April :00 19:00 NürnbergMesse is entitled to dismantle and store stand equipment and exhibits at the exhibitor s cost if the stand space is not cleared by the end of the official dismantling period. NürnbergMesse may approve longer stand assembly and dismantling times in special cases. A relevant application must be submitted in writing to the exhibition management in due time in each case. 3. Catalogue (print version) Your free copy of the catalogue is obtainable from any information and service counter at the exhibition. 4. Customs clearance Please contact the forwarding agent responsible for your hall (see item II, Services). You can obtain information at the information and service counters in front of the exhibition halls. 5. Delivery via the loading yards During assembly Vehicle access to the loading yards during assembly is only possible on payment of a deposit of EUR 100. The deposit is refunded if the vehicle leaves the loading yard within the time limits stated below. Page 3 / 14

4 Time limits during assembly: 1 hour for loading and unloading cars and vehicles up to 2.8 t 2 hours for loading and unloading vehicles over 2.8 t POWTECH 2016 Last-Minute Information We advise companies with display vehicles or heavy, large or bulky exhibits to deliver in the morning on the first assembly day, Friday, 15. April Depending on the assembly situation, it may not be possible to drive cars or trucks into the exhibition halls at a later time. The delivery/pick-up of heavy or large exhibition goods exceeding the weight of 5 t or a size of 3 m x 2.5 m x 4 m has to be registered in advance. All relevant information is available on During the exhibition Vehicle access to the loading yards during the exhibition is only possible on payment of a deposit of EUR 100 (200 EUR on the last day of the exhibition). The deposit is refunded if the vehicle leaves the loading yard within the time limit of approx. 30 minutes. Vehicle access to the loading yards on the last day of the event is not possible from 13:00 until approx. 1 hour after the end of the exhibition due to the delivery of empty containers by the exhibition forwarding agents. During dismantling Vehicle access to the loading yards during dismantling is only possible on payment of a deposit of EUR 200 (exception: trucks exceeding 7.5 t). Access is possible: From 18:30 for cars and trucks up to 2.8 t From 20:00 for vehicles from 2.8 t to 7.5 t From 12:00 for vehicles over 7.5 t Length of stay: 1 hour for loading and unloading cars and vehicles up to 2.8 t 2 hours for loading and unloading vehicles from 2.8 t to 7.5 t 3 hours (extension possible) for loading and unloading vehicles over 7.5 t The exact access times may vary and are on display at the entrance gates. The delivery or handing over of sold exhibits at the exhibition (direct selling) is prohibited. In the event of contravention, NürnbergMesse reserves the right to close the stand concerned. 7. Exhibition Guide Your Exhibition Guide contains all information about hall allocation, locations of exhibitors, infrastructure and special shows. The Exhibition Guide is available free of charge at all information and service counters at the exhibition. 8. 5 9. Exhibition opening times Tuesday 19. until Wednesday 20. April :00 18:00 daily Thursday, 21. April :00 17:00 POWTECH 2016 Last-Minute Information Exhibitors are admitted to the exhibition halls one hour before opening time on each day of the event. The exhibition stands are to be manned by not later than 15 minutes before the opening time. For security reasons, the exhibition halls must be vacated by not later than 30 minutes after closing time. We recommend morning travel by underground railway if your hotel is close to an underground station. 10. Exhibition priority An application for exhibition priority for this event will be submitted to the Federal Ministry of Justice. The priority certificate safeguards certain industrial property rights until registration at a patent office in Germany or abroad. Any exhibitor can apply for a priority certificate. A fee of EUR 50 is charged for this service. Please contact the exhibition management if you have any questions. 11. Exhibitor kitchens Exhibitors can use the following kitchens free of charge for the preparation of hot drinks or for washing up crockery during the opening time of the exhibition: Service 1 (basement), Hall 3 (ground floor), Hall 3A (ground floor), Service 4 (basement), Hall 4A (ground floor), Service 4/5 (basement). The kitchens are equipped with a worktop, sink and water heater. 12. ExhibitorShop Exhibition Services Our Online ExhibitorShop is available for placing your orders until the official assembly time. The login data for this is shown on your stand confirmation. Please note that express surcharges are payable on orders for services received less than 3 weeks days before the start of assembly. The Exhibition Services team is available on site in the ExhibitorShop (between halls 5/6, top floor) during assembly and during the exhibition and will be pleased to answer any questions concerning services and rental stands at the following times. Parking and shuttle service Car parking with shuttle service During assembly and dismantling: Free parking for cars on the car parks of the exhibition site (not in the loading yards!) from Friday, 15. April If necessary, please tell the attendants that you are exhibitor at POWTECH During the exhibition: Paid parking is available for exhibitors during the exhibition on the Süd, Süd-Ost 1, Süd-Ost 2, Ost car parks and in the multi-storey car park Ost. Permanent parking permits for exhibitors can be purchased at the information and service counters at a price of EUR 27 each and are valid from Tuesday, 19. April 2016, until Thursday, 21. April Permanent parking permits ordered and paid for in advance will be sent to you in good time for the event by our ServicePartner Engelhardt & Co. 8 POWTECH 2016 Last-Minute Information During the exhibition: Permanent parking permits are valid for cars only. The parking of trucks, trailers, vans, swap bodies, caravans and mobile homes is prohibited during the exhibition in the areas marked as car parks, in the loading yards of the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg (except for maximum 30 minutes for delivery purposes) and in Große Straße. These vehicles can be parked free of charge during the exhibition in the truck parking areas marked for this purpose by the organizer. The route to these parking areas only a few minutes drive from the exhibition centre is marked by signs and is shown on the map handed out at the entrances to the loading yards and is also available on A shuttle bus service to and from the parking areas is provided for truck drivers as follows: Friday, 15. April :00 22:00 Bus stop: east (Ost) entrance The organizer is entitled to have vehicles towed away at the cost of the vehicle owner or user if they are parked in the car parks or loading yards of the exhibition site at 2:00 on the morning of the first day of the event. The exhibitor agrees to ensure that third parties appointed by him, such as exhibition service companies or forwarding agents, also comply with these regulations. Please forward the relevant information to any third parties concerned. 18. Passes Assembly and dismantling passes You have already received your allocation of assembly and dismantling passes based on the size of your stand with your stand confirmation. You can obtain additional free assembly and dismantling passes at any information and service counter or via the Online ExhibitorShop. These passes are only valid during assembly and dismantling. If applicable, please forward the assembly and dismantling passes to your stand construction company. Exhibitor passes You have already received your allocation of free exhibitor passes based on the size of your stand with your stand confirmation. You can order additional exhibitor passes in advance in the Online ExhibitorShop (see Passes and Tickets, Exhibitor Passes) or purchase them at a cost of EUR 18 each at the entrances or at the exhibition management s office. Print your exhibitor passes with print@home in the exhibitors shop: For the POWTECH 2016 you will not be receiving your passes in card format but instead will use the print@home procedure to conveniently print them yourself. You ll find your allotment of electronic exhibitor passes in the Manage passes section of the ExhibitorShop. Please remember to print these and bring them to POWTECH 2016, as admission will not be granted to the exhibition without a printed pass. Page 8 / 14

9 19. Press office / press centre POWTECH 2016 Last-Minute Information The press centre Ost is open from 13:00-17:00 on the last assembly day, Monday, 18. April 2016, and during the opening times of POWTECH You can hand in your press information material here for putting on display. Responsible use of resources In general, please use resources responsibly in the halls (in addition to electricity, also water, heating, and pressurized air) Stand lighting: Please ensure that stand lighting is switched off at night (also important for fire safety reasons) Other consumers: Please also switch off other consumers overnight to avoid possible consumption in standby modes (exception: cooling units and machines that have to run over night (such as networks, etc.)). Please keep hall doors closed whenever possible. 21. Safety installations, stand construction, floor load capacity, risk of theft, fire extinguishers Installations: Please note that certain installations cannot be carried out until after your arrival. For safety reasons, the stand power supply (lighting etc.) is to be switched off at night by the stand personnel. : Please comply with the stand assembly instructions at Floor load capacity: Please observe the maximum floor load. Risk of theft: Please ensure that your stand is not left unattended during assembly and especially during dismantling. The stand must be manned throughout the opening time of the event. Exhibition insurance is recommended. Exhibits subject to risk of theft should be secured during the exhibition and locked away or guarded at night. Insurance and stand guarding can be ordered in advance in the Online ExhibitorShop (see Catering). Fire extinguishers: NürnbergMesse recommends a fire extinguisher on every stand. Fire extinguishers and flameinhibiting impregnation can be ordered in the Online ExhibitorShop (see Stand Constructions, Fire extinguishers). 22. Smoking in the halls Smoking is prohibited in the exhibition halls during the exhibition. Page 9 / 14

10 23. Stand cleaning The general cleaning of the exhibition halls is arranged by the organizer. The exhibitor is responsible for arranging the cleaning of his own stand. POWTECH 2016 Last-Minute Information Stand cleaning can be ordered via the official ServicePartner in the Online ExhibitorShop (see Catering, Cleaning of stand). Please appreciate that for general security reasons only companies authorized by NürnbergMesse are allowed access to the exhibition halls. 24. Stand parties / use of stand after exhibition closing time Stand parties can be registered in advance via the Online ExhibitorShop (under Service + / Supporting programme). Please note that registration is essential for a stand party or other use of the stand after the exhibition closing time. 25. Programme Information about the programme is available at Trade visitors / trade press As in the previous years, electronic visitor registration will be used again at POWTECH Visitors must wear their entrance tickets in a visible position. Special press cards are issued for the trade press. 27. Transport aids forklift trucks, cranes, hand trucks Transport aids (forklift trucks, cranes, hand trucks, etc.) can only be provided at the desired times if the order is placed in the Online ExhibitorShop (see Catering, Forwarding agent, empty containers storage) in good time before the exhibition. Otherwise considerable waiting times may occur. For safety and liability reasons, lifting equipment such as forklift trucks, mobile cranes etc. may only be requested via the respective exhibition forwarding agent. 28. Transport between exhibition, rail station and airport Underground: U2 line from the airport, change to U1 line at the main rail station (direction of Langwasser-Süd). The journey time to the exhibition centre is approx. 20 minutes from the airport and approx. 10 minutes from the main rail station. A single ticket (adult / Nuremberg, Fürth, Stein) costs EUR Taxi: The journey time from the airport to the exhibition centre by taxi is approx minutes (approx. fare EUR 28.50) and from the main rail station to the exhibition centre approx minutes (approx. fare EUR 16). All the fares stated are approximate and may differ due to the traffic situation, diversions caused by roadworks or waiting times caused by the passenger. 29. Waste disposal Please avoid unnecessary waste and use reusable and environment-friendly materials for stand construction and operation. Page 10 / 14

11 POWTECH 2016 Last-Minute Information Every exhibitor is responsible for the proper and environmentally compatible disposal of his own unavoidable waste or is to transfer this responsibility to appointed subcontractors and other partners involved on the stand. The following waste disposal options are available: - You can make your own arrangements to dispose of your waste outside the exhibition grounds at your own cost. - You can appoint the official ServicePartner of NürnbergMesse to dispose of the waste correctly at extra cost by placing an order in the Online ExhibitorShop (see Catering, Waste disposal). If waste is not disposed of, NürnbergMesse will arrange disposal at the cost of the responsible exhibitor at the higher official rate of charges. The disposal of waste in other waste containers or in other facilities on the Nuremberg exhibition site is expressly prohibited. The disposal of waste accumulated during the exhibition is covered by the obligatory duringevent waste disposal service. Full bin liners are collected directly from the stand daily and fresh ones automatically provided. Please notice that there is no cleaning of your booth included in the during event waste disposal service. 30. WLAN (Wi-Fi) The complete exhibition centre is equipped with full-coverage WLAN (Wi-Fi). Secure WLAN access for exhibitors for the whole period of the exhibition (incl. assembly and dismantling) can be ordered in advance in the Online ExhibitorShop (see item II, Services). Short access to the WLAN (hour or day) can be obtained at the exhibition by purchasing vouchers or by booking in with a credit card.
