As a former U.S. Army Ranger and Pathfinder, he completed the most elite small unit leadership training in the world, spending three years in an actual Ranger Unit and an additional five years as an Army Pathfinder. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, David combines this experience with a solid grounding in business, having accumulated more than 20 years of business experiences in sales, management and marketing, including seven years as founder and CEO of a national retail/amusement company. Having worked as an Army Ranger, forklift operator, competitive skydiver, sales manager to CEO, he has experienced high-performance teamwork and organizational dysfunction at all levels. David is passionate about effective leadership and high performance teamwork within organizations. A national speaker, writer and corporate trainer, David has written articles for professional publications and been the subject of various articles and interviews. Recognized by the North Carolina Chamber of Commerce for her involvement in founding the statewide HR Subcommittee which advises the governor s office and legislature, she also serves as a volunteer at her church and in her community. Ann is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and has done post graduate work at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and Asheville as well as Wake Forest University. Chris Maslin is the Director of Staffing & Training for The Biltmore Company in Asheville, NC, and also serves as the Director of Biltmore s Center for. Chris holds BS and MBA degrees with Beta Gamma Sigma distinction. He also holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources certification from the HR Certification Institute. Chris is a member of the Association for Talent Development and The Society for Human Resource Management. He has served on the North Carolina Travel Industry Association Education Task Force and was recognized as one of Asheville s 40 Under 40 emerging business leaders by Mountaineer Publishing. He currently serves on the North Carolina Chamber HR/Employment Committee, Chief Learning Officer Business Intelligence Board, the Western Carolina University Hospitality & Tourism Advisory Board, as well as a number of non-profit boards in the Asheville area.
