9 INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE Sales and sales management experience in retail, service, and industrial organizations: United Technology Carrier, Service Sales Engineer, responsible for service contract sales for industrial, commercial, and institutional air conditioning equipment. Developed and presented both formal and informal service contract proposals to a variety of different customers such as plant managers, school and county boards, and hospital administrators. Mass Merchandisers, Inc., Division Sales Manager, responsible for servicing grocery and convenience stores with health and beauty aid and non-food products. Prepared such items as budgets, compensation plans, and sales forecasts. Responsible for twenty-one supervisors and route salespeople. Georgia Pacific Corporation, Sales Representative, responsible for sales of building materials to dealers and to large contractors, and for the purchasing of wall board for the branch office. Value Fair Discount Stores, Department Manager, responsible for six hardline departments as well as function as third manager of the store. Responsible for ordering of regular and seasonal merchandise, opening and closing of the store, hiring and firing of department personnel.
