Ambarli is the largest container port in Turkey (2,7 M TEUs)

7 7 Recommendations of «Mediterranean Plan Bleu»: Perform a transports Mediterranean diagram to analyze the real needs of new «hubs» and deepwaters ports (risk of over-capacity). Hubs are economically profitability only for large distances, but in the presence of a more integrated context the distances O/D are smaller and access points must be better allocated. Development of the "Motorways of the Sea, by the design and implementation of services Ro / Ro and container of medium-sized to ensure fixed relations, direct and regular among the countries of the Mediterranean. Improve the capacity and efficiency of existing ports rather than creating new hubs.
